Is Glenn Beck Now In Bed With The SEIU?
It may be time to plaster a photo of Glenn Beck next to a photo of Chairman Mao. Because the two seem to be in bed together. As Alexander Zaitchik writes in AlterNet, Beck has tweeted about the "AMAZING" care he has received from doctors and nurses treating him in the hospital since the emergency removal of his appendix earlier in the week. Zaitchik also notes, "It's a safe bet" that whatever hospital Beck is in, that it is staffed by members of the Service Employees International Union. That's the same SEIU which, according to Beck is a branch of the tree of "Radicalism and Revolution." So has Beck been hoodwinked by these dangerous enemies of our country? Or has he joined them on the dark side? Or is this all part of the 11/3 Project? I report, you decide.

Saturday’s (10/17/09) Bulls and Bears featured a discussion in which guest Bob Froehlich of The Hartford, advocated for abolishing the minimum wage. Predictably, the lopsided panel was in favor of this idea. A like-minded banner on the screen “asked,” “Fire minimum wage laws to create better-paying jobs?”

Fox News: Minimum Wage Hike “Terrible For All Workers!”
Guest blogged by Brian
On Saturday’s (7/18/09) Forbes on Fox, the “we report, you decide” network, during a discussion about the pending minimum wage raise, posted a banner on the screen that said, “Minimum wage hike to $7.25/hr: Terrible for all workers!” Steve Forbes, reported to be worth more than $430 million, seemed to think it was fine to keep the minimum wage at $6.55 because most minimum-wage earners are not the primary earners in the family. I wonder how they and their families would feel about that. If only Forbes and the rest of the Fox News fat cats could be forced to live on $6.55 an hour for a few months! With video

Varney Lies About Employee Free Choice Act
Guest blogged by Brian
On yesterday’s (7/10/09) Your World, Stuart Varney claimed that unions were using President Obama’s meeting with the Pope to push their agenda, the Employee Free Choice Act a/k/a Card Check legislation. Varney used that accusation as a launch pad for distortions about the Act. The guest, Stewart Acuff of the AFL-CIO, did not let Varney get away with it. With video.
