Joseph West commented on Fox’s Michelle Fields: Of Course De Blasio Is To Blame For Slain NYPD Officers 2014-12-28 01:51:59 -0500 · Flag
I can NOT wait until the NYPD’s union starts to renegotiate its contract, calling for pay raises. THEN we’ll see just how quickly FoxNoise reverts to its union-bashing premise, even though they’re all supportive now.

I also think it’s going to be funny when that contract is up for renewal and de Blasio decides to “turn HIS back” on the cops’ demands. And we certainly know the cons won’t be supportive of massive cases of “blue flu.”

Well, see, that’s the problem with FoxNoise and Bill O’Reilly in particular. There’s “no heart” for Christmas to reside.

Warner, why don’t you go to FoxNoise and ask them why they insist on giving “a distorted version of the news instead of the real news”

FoxNoise exists for only one reason: To spread their agenda by telling the truth when they can but by lying when they have to. Of course, the right-wing can’t really deal with the truth. It’s not in their nature.

Joseph West commented on Fox Psychologist Explores De Blasio’s Subconscious To Blame Him For NYPD Shootings 2014-12-24 20:58:28 -0500 · Flag
I think it’s past time for certain medical associations to investigate and revoke certain people’s licenses to practice. Technically, psychologists don’t have medical degrees—that’s the distinction between an “ologist” and an “iatrist”—but the larger point remains. That FoxNoise is relying on persons claiming expertise in mental health issues to proffer diagnoses of people who have never set foot in their offices or sought out their help. That should be a violation of EVERY mental health professionals’ ethics.

Then again, this IS FoxNoise—where ethics only matter for “those people,” never themselves.

Well, Steve, you know. If it’s Dick Cheney or Bill O’Reilly spewing them, then they’re “appropriate.”

Joseph West commented on O’Reilly Attacks De Blasio For Having ‘The Talk’ With His Son About The Police 2014-12-23 01:51:13 -0500 · Flag
Well, not quite all. O’Reilly took one more racial jab at de Blasio, this time for telling his African American son, “how to take special care in any encounter he has with the police officers who are there to protect him.” O’Reilly sneered, “What kind of responsible father tells that to his son?”

Gee, Bill. Probably any father of any son who happens to be of a somewhat “off-white” skin tone.

Maybe if you did a little less whitesplainin’ and a little more listening to the African-Americans (and other minorities) who deal with cops every day. And I’ve got a feeling if the token “conservatives of color” got pulled over by the cops, their experiences would be much closer to that of Michael Brown and Eric Garner than your experiences have been. (I’d so love to see the likes of Clarence Thomas and Allen West and Ben Carson and Herman Cain and Alveda King having to deal with regular beat cops. Something tells me their cries of “But I’m a conservative and a big supporter of the police” would fall on deaf ears.)

Joseph West commented on After Sony Hack, Chris Wallace Suggests Privacy Advocates Should ‘Get Over’ Their Concerns 2014-12-22 14:57:18 -0500 · Flag
Wait a minute. So Wallace is now of the opinion that the government IS necessary for something? I thought that “private is best” per the right-wing noise machine. Sony makes incredible amounts of money every year; you’d think they could afford to employ as many people to ensure their computer systems are secure as they do lawyers to fight copyright infringement. Sony dropped the ball here. Let’s face it: If someone hacked YOU (a normal, everyday, non-corporation-type person), FoxNoise would be blaming you for not taking proper security precautions (ie, not spending enough with the right antivirus software company) but, apparently when it’s a company being hacked from overseas, then FoxNoise decides the government’s at fault for “not sharing” information.

I’ve said it before about the NSA’s metadata collecting and I’ll say it again: There’s NOTHING wrong with it. Despite all the lies (from both sides), the government is NOT “spying” on you, specifically. Any “spying” has to go through official channels. But, the same people who’ve been screaming about the NSA largely have ZERO qualms in turning over far more private/personal information to big corporations (which have, in turned, been hacked of all sorts of information).

Joseph West commented on Fox Theorizes Obama Snubbed Networks As ‘Payback’ For Not Airing Immigration Reform Address 2014-12-20 02:05:36 -0500 · Flag
truman, if I were President, FoxNoise wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the White House. Their credentials would be revoked as a “legitimate news organization” and any official in my administation who spoke with any representative of FoxNoise would be sternly reprimanded with a reminder that (1) they work at MY pleasure and (2) a repeat offense will lead to immediate termination. (And any White House “sources wishing to remain anonymous” speaking with FoxNoise would be tracked down and fired on the spot upon discovery.)

Further, as President, running for re-election, I would NEVER agree to any debate being moderated by any agent of FoxNoise.

And when the inevitable question would come up about my treatment of FoxNoise, I’d simply grin and say “That network is not a legitimate news organization. It’s part of a propaganda machine designed to provide only one side of any story and to lie and deflect and ignore when called on their blatant bias. Presidential news conferences and briefings are a result of the President’s generosity and good will towards news organizations as a recognition of the people’s right to know. FoxNoise is not deserving of anyone’s generosity or good will—not yours and certainly not mine.”

Who could’ve ever foreseen that Matt Stone and Trey Parker would’ve come up with the perfect Christmas song for Bill O’Reilly—all the way back in December of 1999?

Safe to say it’s NOT safe for work, but here’s the original clip http://southpark.cc.com/clips/151728/merry-fing-christmas featuring the footage from the episode, “Mr Hankey’s Christmas Special.” (A fan version—featuring the song over a still stock image—can be seen/heard at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14mPAZkJvd4 .)

But, given O’Reilly’s image as a bully, you can definitely see him singing it in a completely non-ironical way.

Joseph West commented on Fox News Still Whining About Unpatriotic Hollywood Golden Globe Snubs 2014-12-17 21:53:22 -0500 · Flag
Perhaps the Foxies might want to remember who actually presents the Golden Globes before whining about them.

The awards are bestowed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. As noted in the “About” section of the HFPA’s website, “Today the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association represent some 55 countries with a combined readership of more than 250 million. Their publications include leading newspapers and magazines in Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand and Latin America, ranging from the Daily Telegraph in England to Le Figaro in France, L’Espresso in Italy and Vogue in Germany as well as the China Times, leading Brazilian web portal UOL and the pan-Arabic magazine Kul Al Osra.” All of the members are based in Southern California and cover the entertainment industry for their home countries (which is why “Hollywood” is in the group’s name).

The group is most likely to recognize films that have potential for great worldwide appeal (which can tend to narrow some of the more “patriotic” films that the Foxies are championing). However, this doesn’t necessarily prevent the HFPA from acknowledging war films (“The Hurt Locker,” “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Hotel Rwanda” were all nominated while “Schindler’s List” and “Saving Private Ryan” actually won—all of these were within the past two decades). As to the “snub” of “Unbroken,” four of the nominees are based on various individuals’ life stories (MLK in “Selma,” Alan Turing in “The Imitation Gang,” Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything,” and John duPont and Mark and Dave Schultz in “Foxcatcher”—no disrespect to the subject of “Unbroken” but at least three of those stories may be just a little bit more universal than his).

Joseph West commented on Elisabeth Hasselbeck Says 'PC Police' Are After Your Children's Toys! 2014-12-17 02:15:59 -0500 · Flag
So zits and moles turn a regular Barbie into an “anatomically correct” one? Funny, but all the Barbies I’ve ever seen are NOT even remotely anatomically correct (even if they have zits and moles).

Some of the things I’ve never seen on a Barbie:

Nipples.

Flat feet. (Apparently, in the Barbie world, even women’s sneakers are high heels.)

Pubic hair.

Vagina/vulva/clitoris.

Urethral opening.

Anus.

Teeth.

Now, if they’re talking about the doll that was the result of a Kickstarter campaign, the phrasing shouldn’t be “anatomically correct” but rather “anatomically realistic.” (And judging from the image shown on the video clip—which I didn’t watch—that is the “realistic” doll.) And that doll does have flat feet (unlike virtually every Barbie on the market).

I wonder what would happen at FoxNoise if a school decided to have a Santa come in and wished all the little kids, “Happy Holidays” BUT the school refused to allow any mention of “Christmas” and banned any religious-oriented Christmas music at the “Holiday Pageant?”

Think Hasselhack would blow a fuse and reveal herself to be a real Stepford Wife?
