Fusion and Univision's Jorge Ramos visited The O'Reilly Factor last night where he discussed his swin across the Rio Grande between Texas and Mexico to highlight the perils faced by immigrants, especially the immigrant children that conservatives like Bill O'Reilly are so eager to deport, they seem to be afraid of catching cooties.
I thought Ramos made his points well, especially about the uselessness of Texas governor Rick Perry's stunt of putting the National Guard on the border.
But I fear it all fell on deaf ears. Regular readers know I'm a big advocate of liberals going on Fox News. But when they do, I think they need to confront Fox's tactics. Ramos hit the right note when he contrasted O'Reilly's claim to be a big supporter of children with his "Get 'em out" attitude. But I think more was needed.
