Jimmy Kimmel had some funny insights into Megyn Kelly’s announcement that she had met with Donald Trump in order to “clear the air.”
“In the end, they agreed to put aside their differences and get back to what’s important, which is getting white people very angry,” Kimmel joked.
“Is it just me,” he continued or did Kelly’s announcement “have the feel of one of those forced hostage videos?”
Then he showed what he thought had really gone on. And it was pretty funny.
Watch it below, from the April 14 Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“Meet The Depressed” with Chuck Odd did a piece which points to some Trump schizophrenia. If I grasp his campaign’s strange behavior (this is The Donald after all we’re talking about), his staff is trying to play patty cake with the RNC to smooth things over while wild-man Trump continues to demagogue unscripted at the podium.
While I don’t watch Fox News directly any more, my sense visiting this site and others covering their right-wing propaganda is they’ve slowly crossed the great divide separating the Republican establishment and pitch fork bearing Archie Bunker Trump supporters to become Der Furor cheerleaders.
The assumption will be puppet-master Roger Ailes has put out some edict. However, I think the source of a lot of Fox News’ lock-step propaganda generation is the knowledge each show’s producers have of their audience. To keep eyeballs glued to Fox’s propaganda factory they have to tow the line regarding the current state of conservative political sentiments. So it’s no surprise Megyn Kelly will sell out to woo the Trump-ites.
Let’s see how long any of this lasts given mercurial Trump can spill any apple cart even if it’s pushed by his adoring fans over at Fox News. ;^)

It’s a marriage of convenience. They need each other. Trump knows he cannot win this if he only hangs with Hannity and O’Reilly. She needs this, too. The only question is: what took them so long to figure this out?
