That is a classic Sheer InSannity lie. He takes a bit of truth – Mr. Obama wrote about “the call to prayer at sunset” – and then twists it. The rubes and gulls fall for it because it seems to have the ring of truth.

But, because it only half-true, it’s a lie.

Just like when InSannity raved about Mr. Obama speaking to a “half empty” event center in Ohio.

Sheer InSannity whines about Media Matters for America taking “a phrase, a word” out of context – then he endlessly plays montages of people he doesn’t like saying things taken out of context.

When is the last time InSannity played a soundbite longer than 20 seconds from someone he doesn’t like?

What other amateur painter was a big believer in political propaganda?

One National Under Socialism shows Mr. Obama holding the US Constitution he inherited from President George Bush.

And Mr. Obama isn’t happy with his legacy.

Meanwhile, the right wing nutz continue to whine along the lines of the statement that Miller “defended his pal Lovitz by noting the kind of disrespect the left paid George W. Bush.”

Sheer InSannity is the past master of this. Rather than hold a principled position, these fools adopt the standards of the people they can’t stand.

truman: Agreed! Sheer InSannity completely misinterpreted James Carville’s recent comments. Carville is rightfully concerned about being over-confident – that’s never a good winning strategy.

InSannity tried to spin it as fear. But then, we see the world as we see ourselves.

Of course it is a community center. These idiots don’t understand the concept of a mosque. Since Allah is everywhere there is no need to consecrate or otherwise dedicate a house of worship.

What is needed is a small stand for the person speaking, and a niche or other indication of the direction to Mecca.

Sheer InSannity whines that Media Matters for America takes a sentence, a phrase, a word “out of context.” Then he plays numerous montages of out-of-context quotes from various sources.

He rants about “liberals” degrading women. Yet he says nothing about so-called conseratives such as his good buddies Off-the-Mark Levin (who hates women) and the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson.

As for InSannity’s so-called “debates,” he always joins in on the side he agrees with. That’s his MO. That’s one reason he didn’t like Anthony Weiner. Remember when Rep. Weiner said “So it’s three against one? OK!”

It’s an outright lie for Ms. Powers to state that there’s “a little dispute” over whether or not “enhanced interrogations” (which Obama has banned) were integral to the finding of Bin Laden.

There is considerable dispute – and most of the evidence lands on the side of “torture doesn’t work.”

The biggest problem with that position is that torture is wrong. Period. To claim that it “works” is a distraction.

Amy Davidson is incorrect when she wrote that Mr. Rodriguez advocated or otherwise supported “…holding electric drills to their heads and telling them that their female family members would be raped in Middle Eastern prisons…”

I saw the 60 Minutes piece. As I recall it, he stated the people who did those specific things were way stupid, out of line, and dealt with appropriately.

This is not to support anything else Mr. Rodriguez did or said. Just want to keep the record straight.
