I think we can add “dishonest,” along with “misogynistic” and “race baiting” to the list of words we could use to describe Fox News ambush producer Jesse Watters. On The O’Reilly Factor tonight, he insisted he meant no disrespect when he called single ladies “Beyoncé voters” and then described them as, basically, welfare queens. No disrespect because, according to Watters, that’s what they are. But first, he went to the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco and asked a lot of obnoxious questions.
You may recall that last week, Watters got kicked out of a NOW conference for asking sexist questions such as, “Have you ever burned your bra?” of the attendees. This week, Watters asked similarly offensive questions of the gay pride marchers:
- Are you guys sure you don’t like girls? Are you sure?
- Do you still need these parades, even though you guys can get married in CA?
- Does it make you a bigot if you believe in traditional marriage?
- Can I have a straight pride parade if I wanted to?
Back in the studio, Bill O’Reilly noted how Watters’ “Beyoncé voters” remarks had become quite controversial. In case you missed it, last week, Watters said about Hillary Clinton's criticism of the Hobby Lobby ruling:
I’m not surprised. This is her bread and butter. This is how she’s gonna try to win the White House. This is what she’s gonna go do: She needs the single ladies vote - I call them the Beyoncé voters, the single ladies. ...Obama won single ladies by 76% last time, and they made up about a quarter of the electorate. They depend on government, because they’re not depending on their husbands. They need things like contraception, health care, and they love to talk about equal pay.
Tonight, Watters “explained”:
What I was trying to say is that - I wasn’t talking about Beyoncé at all. I was talking about the song “Single Ladies.” And what I was saying was, single women – single ladies – depend on government much more than married women and the stats show that. They depend on them for food stamps, welfare, housing assistance, Medicaid and Hillary needs those single ladies if she’s gonna win in 2016.
…Even if they’re single without kids out of wedlock, they’re still dependent on government more than married women and I wasn’t making a judgment.
Oh no, no judgment at all.
Actually, the problem for the GOP is that Fox is only interested in ratings/money while pretending to cheer for the GOP (so they make such money). It can be argued that a GOP victory is not in the best interest of Fox, who mastered the art of fighting as an underdog in a war they imagine themselves to be persecuted. So Fox may not really care the GOP does not win, and the GOP is sadly stuck with Fox – they cannot cut ties because that would drive away the base, and they cannot stay in this toxic relationship because it is, well, toxic, for the rest.
This is a lose-lose deal for the GOP. They know it but cannot do anything about it.
NOTE TO INTERN JESSE
You can represent Fox “News” at the parade next year.
The song is about a woman who dumped her sorry-ass boyfriend and now she’s enjoying her life especially when he gets jealous of how much fun she’s having without him.

Up in the club, we just broke up
I’m doing my own little thing
You decided to dip but now you wanna trip
Cause another brother noticed me
I’m up on him, he up on me
don’t pay him any attention
Cause I cried my tears, for three good years
Ya can’t be mad at me
[Chorus:]
Cause if you liked it then you should have put a ring on it
If you liked it then you should’ve put a ring on it
Don’t be mad once you see that he want it
If you liked it then you should’ve put a ring on it

See, when you listen to the song, you’ll hear it’s a 180 from what Watters “thinks” it’s about.
Is this the conclusion they came away with when they were doing that so-called “autopsy?” Insult minority’s, immigrants, and women until none of them can stand you?
Keep talking and letting them(and us) know how you really feel; I encourage you to keep insulting them until you are no more!
2) Even if that’s what you meant, why would you gratuitously insert Beyonce’s name into the conversation, if not to score points with your boss O’Reilly, who has an almost obsessive hatred of her?
3) No judgement? Provide your definition of Judgement.
