Hannity Wishes Romney Were More Like Scott Walker

Posted by Ellen -383.80pc on June 09, 2012 · Flag

Although Sean Hannity would probably never come right out and say it directly, his hint that Mitt Romney should be more like Scott Walker was unmistakable last night.

It was another special Hannity show - meaning, apparently, that Hannity had more of his usual Republican guests on the set with him than usual. However, in one segment, he did a one-on-one with "courageous" Scott Walker. That wasn't just Hannity's characterization, by the way, The banner on the lower third of the screen read, "GOV WALKER'S COURAGE TO LEAD: tough decisions made to address budget crisis." But Hannity went on to take this jab at Romney as he introduced Walker: "Now, you're not going to find that type of courageous leadership on the national stage these days but you will find it in my next guest."

Just in case anyone missed what Hannity was driving at, a graphic on the lower right of the screen read: courage TO LEAD. On one side was a GOP elephant and on the other, an American flag.

I was thinking they are pretty similar except for the fact that Rmoney was fortunate enough to be born to money and Snotty is going to have to grub his out of the Wingnut welfare system with a personalized pair of kneepads and whatever other equipment they’ll give him.Shun Sannity might be envious of RMoney’s good fortune and as usual oblivious to the fact Snotty’s skating on thin ice.

@Joseph West: Yes, you would — but, you’d have company. :)

I’ve been thinking/hoping pretty much the same thing. In fact . . . I’ve wondered if, the reason President Obama didn’t get more involved in the race than he did, was because he and AG Holder know something the rest of us don’t — yet {remember, Walker is under investigation by both the federal AND WI State DOJ.}

And, in this Presidential election year, when image is everything, which makes the stronger visual:

Walker doing the perp walk in handcuffs from his home as a private citizen after losing the recall race?

OR

Walker doing the perp walk in handcuffs from the governor’s mansion after all the celebration {and rightwing pundtry talk of how “this is where the country’s moving”}?

kkklannity wishes Etch-a-Sketch Rmoney were more like crosseyed corrupt pig scottie?

Honestly, the only way you can tell Etch-a-Sketch and crosseyed corrupt pig apart is their height. They both lie, they’re both corrupt, and they both suck their corporate master’s asses. Not much difference there, kkklannity.

The right-wing nutjobs are already preparing their post-election meme as to why Etch-A-Sketch lost to that Black Socialist Muslim. It goes along the lines of: Etch-A-Sketch would have won if he had been more like:
1. that cross-eyed Wisconsin pig who sucks up to the Kochsucker brothers; or
2. that New Jersey anti-union thug Crispy Cream Christie; or
3. (fill in your own favorite Teabagger-Repug).

Would I be guilty of indulging in schadenfreude if I hope that Walker, after surviving the recall effort, loses his job as a result of the investigation?

Or, wouldn’t it be just incredibly sweet if, because of this investigation, Walker pulls a Palin and resigns the governorship?

(Hey, one can dream, can’t one?0

How so, Sean? You wish Romney were under investigation for fraud, too?
