Sean Hannity and his hate-mongering pal, Mark Levin, celebrated Benjamin Netanyahu’s electoral victory by – how else? – raining down derision and scorn for our own president.
Ironically, Hannity complained about Obama showing “contempt and outright loathing of the prime minister.” As if Netanyahu were our president and not the foreign leader who deliberately tried to undermine and disrespect him.
Despite Netanyahu’s outrageous behavior toward Obama, the president of a country that forks over $3.1 billion a year in aid, Hannity carped that Obama “didn’t pick up the phone today” to congratulate Netanyahu. As an extra dog whistle, Hannity groused that Obama had called the president of Iran, Vladimir Putin, Egypt’s Mohammed Morsi as well as the leaders of Saudi Arabia, China and Turkey when they won victories or took office. “Why can’t he pick up a phone and call our number one ally and the only democracy in the region?” Hannity “asked” Levin.
Surely, Hannity knew that Levin would use that “question” as a cue to start in on Obama.
First, Levin said Obama didn’t call because he “doesn’t like democracy. …He’s off doing his best Benito Mussolini.”
Then, Levin really ramped it up. He began speaking emphatically, but by the time Levin got to accusations of anti-Semitism, he was shouting:
The fact of the matter is Sean, and I want to say this and this this is important. Eric Holder said that this nation is full of cowards ‘cause we won’t have a discussion about race. Well, I think this nation needs to have a discussion about what’s going on in this White House and this administration about anti-Semitism.
…This president has a lot to answer for and his conduct is contemptible! …I don’t care how many liberal Democrat donors he has who are Jewish. He can hide behind them all he wants! But Mr. Holder, Mr.Obama! Let’s have a national discussion about the anti-Semitism that reeks from your administration!
That seemed to take even Hannity aback. Or at least, not even he wanted to go there. “You think the president’s anti-Semitic, Mark?” he asked.
“I personally do. Yes, I do! Has he demonstrated otherwise?” Levin responded.
I think Levin is anti-American. Has he demonstrated otherwise? Every time he opens up his mouth, all I ever hear is hate and hostility for this country.
Meanwhile, Hannity “merely” showed open favoritism for a foreign leader, Netanyahu, over his own country’s democratically elected president. “In defiance of the president, he told the world about the dangers of this bad agreement (with Iran)," Hannity said admiringly, "and I think President Obama is small in comparison and probably deep down inside knows it, that he’s just outclassed.”
What a couple of patriots, eh?
Watch it below, from the March 18 Hannity show.
You pal around with Hannocchio. Ever wonder what he really thinks of Jews? Hal said he had the same ideology as him. Former employees at WABC radio remembers Hal visiting the station when Hannocchio was there. We call him Hannocchio because he’s never truthful. His colleagues know it, but not his audience. We don’t expect them too. They don’t work at this “network.”
Does it bother you, Marcos that the executives hires mostly Catholics/Christians as hosts? How many Jewish hosts do you see on Fox? If we were Jewish we ask that question. On the other hand, you are afraid to question them on this slight. We doubt you have the guts to challenge them on this issue. Are you afraid of Ailes?
Where are all the members of the Mark Levin marchers and shouters society we normally get whenever their beloved is mentioned?
I’m starting to worry.
;^)
2. Sheltered life I’ve led, I’d never even heard of Levin until I happened to randomly tune his show once while driving through west Texas.
3. Ashamed to hear such filth spewing from a man with an obviously Jewish name, I paid closer attention.
4. After listening to people around me in diners, gas stations, etc., I have not returned to west Texas.
5. Levin is not an anomaly.
Yeah Mark, let’s.
We can start with the President demonstrating his anti-Semitism by celebrating Passover in the White House:
