Hannity Guest Suggests President Obama’s Contraception Mandate To Blame For Nicki Minaj’s Grammy Performance

Posted by Ellen -376.20pc on February 14, 2012 · Flag

Last night’s Hannity discussion about Nicki Minaj’s performance at the Grammy’s was proof positive that Fox News will use ANYTHING as an excuse to attack President Obama. Guest Deneen Borelli suggested that Minaj’s “assault” on the Catholic Church was merely following the example set by President Obama with his contraception mandate.

After playing a clip of Minaj’s performance mocking the Catholic Church, Hannity called it “another page out of the Madonna handbook… Let’s go after the Catholic faith. That always seems to work.”

Right. Because any Hannity watcher knows that what really always works is always going after Democrats, the left and Obama. In fact, the first thing out of Borelli’s mouth was her suggestion that Obama was somehow to blame for Minaj. She said, “This is another example of the assault on the Catholic Church. And look who’s at the head of this list. President Obama. With his mandate, you shall or else. And then you have this chick, Nicki Manj, or whatever her name is, you know, she’s playing to the Hollywood crowd… and they’re anti-Catholic belief… But you know what? We as Americans, we have the choice. We don’t have to vote for Obama with his mandates and you don’t have to buy her products.”

Before long, Special Victim Hannity was whining about that ol’ “double standard.” “What if this was against the Islamic faith?” he wondered (which was nicely shot down by his other guest, Michael Meyers). “Conservative women are attacked. I don’t see liberal women attacked in the same way.” That is, unless your name is Michelle Obama or Rosie O’Donnell or Nancy Pelosi or …well, you probably get the picture.

Time to go buy Nicki Minaj music (Even though I’ve never heard her before). Anything that has Faux News in a lather is something I have to support!

If Nicki Minaj did a performance mocking the pedophile priest in the catholic church, these Fox “News” frauds would clam up.

High End Hannocchio, who grew up in the catholic church, would never have brought this controversy up in the first place. If anyone knows about pedophile priests, it’s Hannocchio.

The catholic church will continue to be mocked until they clean up their own act.

Or Nicki Minaj, perhaps? Admittedly, I don’t know Minaj’s political leanings but you do have to admit the irony in Hannity’s whine about “©onservative women are attacked” during a program in which he spends his time attacking a woman.

She was in the line-up, she changed her song to coincide with Houston’s death. The performance was good, but I felt it was a bit of a shameful move on her part. It came across as that she was cashing in.

I’m not in the entertainment business but I’m guessing that the entertainment line-up for the Grammy’s, with the exception of Jennifer Hudson’s performance, was finalized way before the contraceptive non-issue caught the attention of kkklannity and the rest of the FokkksGOPTV pukes.

kkklannity is a dumbass.

Oh, GAWD- where to start with this one…

First off, actually watch the performances. Adele was the only good performer that wasn’t trying to cash in on Houston’s death. The rest of it was singers that are normally good (Hudson, Springsteen) shamefully using Houston’s name, or bad singers pulling gimmicks- singing outside their genre, showing up showing WAY too much skin, having a substanceless act that relied too much on being weird overall… in some cases, all three.

Second off, Google Nicki Minaj- she’s basically a black version of Lady Gaga. By that, I mean that her music is mediocre, she’s terrible live but she always has a shocking gimmick to get people talking about her every time, anyways. Like Gaga, the gimmick is usually topical.

Oh, wait- Hannity couldn’t even do enough research to be sure that was really her name. Scratch that.

Maybe Minaj just doesn’t like the catholic Church? I mean,it’s not like she’s not a big girl and all and can make up her own mind.

And perhaps all the recent backlash against the good fr’s isn’t because of Obama. Maybe it’s because people realize how full of crap they are and how very little they actually care about their parishoners and those that work for them.

Not even Hannity blamed Obama for Minaj's performance but he happily accepted his guest's suggestion without challenge.
