Andrew Breitbart Trying To Blackmail The Obama Administration With ACORN And Other Videos
Andrew Breitbart and his team of ACORN videographers were back on Hannity last night (11/19/09) with a new undercover video that Breitbart claimed he was “forced to offer” now because California Attorney General Jerry Brown has launched an investigation into whether the filmmakers broke the law by secretly recording “confidential communication.” That was astounding enough. You’d think that if Breitbart really had something big on ACORN, he would have released it a few months ago, when he had maximum media attention, rather than withhold it until he could use it as ammunition against a personal foe. Or you’d think he’d at least have the good sense not to broadcast his self-serving machinations. Judging from the very edited video Breitbart presented last night, one suspects that the real reason it was withheld was because it did little to effectively incriminate ACORN. Breitbart, on the other hand, incriminated himself even worse. Near the end of the segment, he told Hannity that he had more videos and “not just ACORN” that he threatened to release during the 2010 election cycle unless the Department of Justice opened a federal investigation into ACORN. With video.

Palin Says “We Weren’t Fair To The Electorate” Not Focusing More On Rev. Wright And Bill Ayers
It felt like 2008 all over again last night (11/18/09) as Sean Hannity went out of his way to bring up Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers during his hour-long interview with Sarah Palin about her new book. Why would Hannity waste time on this non-issue, if not for a sheer desire to hate monger against President Obama? In response, Palin had the nerve to pretend that talking more about Wright and Ayers was not negative campaigning, just being “fair to the electorate.” With video.

Thank goodness Fox News is fair and balanced. If they weren’t, Sean Hannity would have wasted time asking Sarah Palin during their hour-long interview last night (11/18/09) about the many inaccuracies in her new book, the response of the McCain campaign to the allegations she made against them and pressed her on why she really quit her job as Governor of Alaska in the middle of her term. Instead, Hannity left all those bothersome details to the so-called liberal media and seemed determined to compensate for every single piece of negative publicity poor, persecuted Palin ever suffered. So during his interview, Hannity not only dismissed all 15 ethics probes filed against her during her two and a half years as governor, he suggested Rahm Emanuel and the Obama administration were to blame for her troubles and her resignation. Palin wholeheartedly agreed. With video.

Hannah Giles Caught Lying On The Air About Anti-ACORN Videos And Fox News And Hannity Failed To Notice
What a coincidence that just as ACORN sued the federal government to restore its funding, James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles have come up with a new round of anti-ACORN sting videos. Not surprisingly, Sean Hannity and Fox News showcased one of them last night (11/16/09) and promised more “devastating” videos to come later in the week. So far, the latest “devastation” is underwhelming. Last night’s video consisted of two brief clips of an employee from ACORN’s Los Angeles office refusing to help O’Keefe and Giles with their “prostitution ring.” As Hannity, O’Keefe and Giles crowed that this was the only employee who had failed to help them, Hannity overlooked the fact that a) other ACORN employees had failed to help them and b) Giles had claimed on a previous show with Hannity that “not one” ACORN office had refused to help them. Hannity also neglected to follow up on Giles’ dubious statement, made on Hannity two months ago, that she had been “working on” verifying whether or not an ACORN employee in San Bernardino had been telling the truth when she boasted in their film about having killed her husband. In fact, a police report has supported the employee’s claim that she had pulled the legs of the scammers because she knew they were fakes. With video.

Jon Stewart Not Exactly Impressed By Hannity's Apology For Phony Footage
Sorry, Sean. Your apology for "inadvertently" showing footage of the 9/12 protest crowd for Michele Bachmann's Superbowl of Freedom crowd (which had a much smaller attendance) didn't quite fly with Jon Stewart. That's an understatement. As Mark Karlin, of Buzzflash, notes, "What's central to the importance of Stewart's continuing witty skewering of FOX is that Stewart is one of the few television personalities who has the influence to put FOX on the defensive." Video after the jump.
