George Will is not only not making any apologies for his shocking remarks about the "coveted status" of being a sexual assault victim, he's doubling down on them.
On June 19th, Will recorded an interview with Brian Lamb on C-SPAN. In it, Will seemed more worried about the effects on men and colleges that the Obama administration's efforts to combat sexual assault will have. Then, he waved off criticisms by saying, "Indignation is the default position of certain people in civic discourse" and that it's part of his job "to make people angry." When asked by Lamb if he'd take any of his words back, Will responded, "No, no."
Watch C-SPAN's excerpt from the interview below. Check out my post on Addicting Info for more analysis of Will's remarks.

Safety is a must! we must protect ourselves from sex offenders, they can be anywhere or anytime. We can never predict when they will attack us. Protecting ourselves from sex offenders is our own duty. I am suggesting you to use this application http://safetrec.com/

Men who take “no” for “yes” are so old school, but it’s that sort of talk that can encourage potential rapists.
I wonder if Mr. Will thinks that the victims of a mugging wanted – deep down – to be mugged?

Yeah. Will’s so concerned about the poor men who might be falsely accused of rape—how that will affect their futures—but he doesn’t seem to give a rat’s ass about the women who are raped and how that affects not only their futures, but their right nows.
