Just like Sean Hannity - but supposedly an objective news outlet - FoxNews.com is ready to make Governor Chris Christie's Bridgegate scandal old news. And, of course, continue its relentless vilification of all things Obama.
The New York Times reports today that newly-released documents uncover a web of deceit among Christie's top loyalists over the deliberate snarling of traffic on the George Washington Bridge:
Top officials at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey loyal to Gov. Chris Christie went to elaborate means to make it appear that the closing of several toll lanes leading onto the George Washington Bridge from Fort Lee, N.J., in September was part of a traffic study even though private communications among those same officials suggest the move was purely for political reasons, according to over 1,000 pages documents released by New Jersey lawmakers on Friday.
But you'd be hard-pressed to find that news on FoxNews.com - if it's there at all.
Above the fold, it's Benghazi as usual:
A site search of "Christie documents" did not turn up any stories about the newly-uncovered information on the first two pages.
But near the bottom of the home page, in a section called "BEST OF FOX NEWS CHANNEL," nearly every highlight from prime time suggests Christie is in trouble:
So Fox knows what people are interested in - even as it pretends otherwise.
