Neil Cavuto got an earful about his on-air smackdown of Rep. Michele Bachmann. Most disapproved. But as long-time Cavuto-watchers, we know that Cavuto is right when he says he treats other guests the same way. He just didn't happen to mention that he never treats Republican guests this way.
Watch Cavuto discuss the mostly negative feedback (if the samples he aired are representative), below. And do check out how in every one of his examples of similar treatment to other guests, the guest is a Democrat.

The beauty of all this is many Fox (and MSNBC) viewers don’t seem to understand this. The hosts of these shows have little interest in facts or being accurate. They simply want to put on a good show to keep the advertisers and the base happy. So, Fox occasionally trots out Juan Williams to stand up for the left and the viewers love it when he gets pilloried by the host. Bachman is the perfect pinata for this because she is out of office soon.

It was great entertainment. Anybody who watches those shows for anything more than to be entertained are missing the point. All the hosts are merely angling for headlines. Cavuto managed to win this day’s war.

Cavuto should know by now that the average Fox “News” viewers are as nutty as the Mad Housewife Michele.

Apparently, Fox viewers didn't take it well.
