Fox News prime time last night was pretty much all Obama-scandal/Eric Holder witch hunt all the time, with a brief break for such subjects as a woman in a Mexican prison and Senator Rand Paul's family photo with Ronald Reagan. In three hours of programming, I didn’t hear one mention of the fact that a threat had been made on our president’s life or that a domestic terrorist may be targeting gun-control advocates.
In case you missed it - and you probably would have if you’re a devoted Fox watcher - yesterday, the Secret Service intercepted a letter addressed to President Obama that contained ricin. Politico reports:
A ricin-laced letter addressed to President Barack Obama was intercepted before reaching the president, the Secret Service confirmed Thursday. The letter was similar to those sent last week to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the gun control group he backs.
“The White House mail screening facility intercepted a letter addressed to the White House that were similar to letters previously addressed to Mayor Bloomberg in New York,” Secret Service spokesman Edwin Donovan said in a statement to POLITICO. “This letter has been turned over to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force for testing and investigation.”
In other words, there could be a terrorist on the loose. Yet Fox, ever monitoring whether others use the word “terrorist” and properly acknowledge terrorism – doesn’t seem to care. In fact, I didn’t even hear that word – so important to the war on terror, according to the Fox News theory of terrorism fighting.

I couldn’t find any mention of the ricin threats on Fox Nation but here it is – buried on the page – on FoxNews.com.
Of course not.
For Fox and their teabagging rightwingnut viewers, a threat against President Obama’s life doesn’t constitute terrorism — it’s a “patriotic act” . . .
