It's not even Labor Day but Fox News' Elisabeth Hasselbeck has already suited up for the War on Christmas.
Belen, New Mexico is fighting the Freedom From Religion Foundation in its efforts to remove a year-round Nativity scene from a city park. And, of course, Fox News host Elisabeth Hasselbeck could not have been more sympathetic. Eroding the separation between church and state is one of Fox News' holiest of missions!
After dramatic music opened a segment called, "THE FIGHT FOR FAITH," Hasselbeck stood in front of a graphic with the same slogan as she said, "It's not just a fight for faith but a fight for history." That's because Belen means "Bethelehem" in Spanish and, according to Mayor Jerah Cordova, the town has been displaying a nativity scene since its founding in 1741.
"How hard, how long are you willing to fight for this nativity to remain as it has been?" Hasselbeck asked Cordova.
Cordova said his city is "prepared to take this as far as we have to take it," including fighting a lawsuit. He said the city has a lot of support from people and organizations both in and out of New Mexico and "we know that we're going to get the support that we need to carry this through."
One of those supportive organizations he can count on is Fox News. Hasselbeck closed the interview by saying appreciatively, "A leader's voice ringing strong."

The Foxies’ bogus war on Christmas will be short-lived because the amateur suits will be too busy going after Trumpster.
Buy a pack of popcorn.
And let me shout out an early Happy Holidays to Lizzie!!!!!
A Jew, for example, would ask why their tax money is going to this lawsuit.
