Fox Business’ Charles Payne took Fox’s cheerleading for corporations leaving the U.S. one step further yesterday: by attacking Walgreens for deciding to stay.
Payne said:
Essentially the CEO of Walgreens destroyed capitalism, shareholder rights. He not only blinked, he gave the President so much ammunition - and I’m telling you, I hope he’s not standing side by side when the President makes this announcement, but the President will bring up Walgreens doing the patriotic thing. Instead it was one of the most shameful moves I’ve seen a CEO do in a long time.
…I bet you President Obama has got an accountant. Why did he get an accountant? To help him get a lower tax rate.
Neil Cavuto piled on: “We all but push them (companies) out the door.”
How is it shameful for a company to keep their money here in the U.S. instead of going overseas and helping someone else’s economy? Only a Fox News pundit would call it shameful.
Watch the discussion from yesterday's Your World below, and do check out Cavuto's condescending attitude toward Democrat Jessica Ehrlich.
