One day after Donald Trump said he’d turn to Sean Hannity for advice on a vice presidential pick, Fox host Neil Cavuto offered up colleague Scott Brown as a suggestion.
Brown appeared on Your World yesterday to discuss the New Hampshire primaries. Brown, a former Massachusetts U.S. senator and a failed New Hampshire senate candidate, now a Fox News contributor, revealed he’s a big Donald Trump supporter.
At about 3:30 into the interview, Cavuto displayed a photo of Brown with Trump’s arm around him. “When I saw you two together,” Cavuto said, “I looked at this and said, ‘That could be the ticket right there!’“
Brown giggled at the thought.
Some fair and balanced anchor there, encouraging Trump to pick Brown as a running mate.
Later, Brown recommended Chris Christie for attorney general. Calling him “a scrapper,” Brown added, “Chris would make a fantastic attorney general, fantastic. Nobody better, nobody better. I would highly recommend, whoever wins, that he be picked because he’s a fantastic prosecutor, and he believes it and he lives it.”
Brown might want to take a closer look at Christie’s record before endorsing him for attorney general.
