Fox & Friends offered their “fair and balanced” take on the Democratic debate – with a racial dig at Democrat Martin O’Malley.
Before the dig, “objective” reporter Mike Emanuel echoed the complaint of “objective” correspondent Catherine Herridge the night before: that there had been no mention of the Clinton emails or Benghazi during the debate.
Then Emanuel “inspired” cohosts Tucker Carlson and Anna Kooiman when he noted that O’Malley had fought to get attention and set a contrast between himself and the other candidates at the debate.
“Every time Martin O’Malley speaks, they should just run video of Baltimore in the backdrop,” cohost Tucker Carlson said afterward.
“On fire,” Kooiman added.
Carlson cracked up.
Considering that O’Malley, when he was the mayor of Baltimore, seriously addressed black crime in a way not dissimilarly from Rudy Giuliani – and that Fox is forever complaining about black crime - you’d think the network would be championing him.
But so long as he has a “D” after his name, that will never happen.
