Hillary Clinton once called Monica Lewinsky a “narcissistic looney tune,” according to some papers belonging to Clinton’s close friend and confidante. That and other comments Clinton reportedly made about the affair led Fox News’ Dr. Keith Ablow to jump to some psychological conclusions about the Clintons that he freely shared with the viewers.
The papers have been available to the public since 2010 but as part of the right-wing’s new zeal to rehash the Clinton scandals, the conservative Washington Free Beacon recently went through the papers, trumpeted their findings and Fox has been talking about them all day.
Tonight, on The Kelly File, Ablow didn’t let a little thing like not having any direct access to either Clinton’s thoughts stop him from concluding that her friend’s papers prove that both Hillary and Bill Clinton were dishonest with the Amerian public:
Here’s a window on what the First Lady really believed which was that, you know, men stray, that the president could be forgiven for this lapse, perhaps she would have forgiven him for many lapses during their marriage. I think it’s a loss that the president at the time, Bill Clinton, and the first lady, Hillary, didn’t come forward and talk openly, honestly, about their marriage and what the constraints were and the kind of forgiveness they offered each other.
…I think here you go inside the mind of Hillary Clinton and it’s not that she and her husband deceive one another, necessarily. They seem to have an understanding. It’s that she feels free to deceive the American people, as did he. I don’t think they were honest about just how upset they were about an affair in their marriage, which is, I don’t think, very upset.
Host Megyn Kelly swatted that away as ridiculous. “What first couple would be sharing their deep dark…?” She asked.
Ablow interrupted: “Look, I think they should have come forward and said, ‘Look, we forgive certain things, this is a tough job, we have our marriage, it’s a private thing.’ Instead, he’s holding a prayer breakfast, she’s looking very upset and these deceits go right down the gambit.”
Again, Kelly wouldn’t buy it. “She couldn’t come right out and call Monica Lewinsky a ‘narcissistic looney tune!' People would have considered that blaming the victim.”
Ablow interrupted again. “He could have said that the presidency’s a lonely office, sometimes marriage is a lonely thing. …And I found some comfort with a woman in my office. That’s what he should have said. ‘Cause it was the truth.”
“If he came out and said the presidency is lonely, we would have killed him. I mean, the press would have killed him,” Kelly told Ablow.
“No, I think a lot of people would have swooned,” Ablow insisted.
Not on Fox they wouldn’t have.
Now if only Fox could figure out a way to tie this into Benghazi, they could really party like it’s 1999!

We encourage the masses to use the Abbott scandal to stick it to the GOP.
If Dr. Quack wants to psychoanalyze marriages he should begin with Ruthless Rupy’s failed marriage to Wendi, followed by Billy’s failed marriage to Maureen. That should keep him busy for awhile.
