It is good to see Fox concerned for a fellow human being, since all too often empathy for the poor, the working class, women, etc, seems to be lacking at the network. FoxNews.com reports that Dr. Shakeel Afridi, the doctor who helped the US track down Bin Laden, is being tortured in a Pakastani prison, according to his family.
Apparently, torture is bad if it used on us, but good if it is being used by us. Fox has long been a supporter of "enhanced interrogation" or "a little persuasion" (which has been shown not to work in addition to it being horrrific) during the Bush administration and even in the most recent incident in Benghazi. Just this week Fox's Greg Gutfeld referred to waterboarding as "awesomeboarding." I suppose however it isn't so awesome if the torture happens to someone on our side. Fair and balanced indeed.
On a related note, this is day 1330 on the Hannity Waterboard Watch. Come on, Sean, it's for charity!
Do you like this post?
How do i know this doctor isn’t JUST receiving ‘enhanced interrigation’?? See how that works, right wing!!!
@mike: He has a show called “Red Eye” and is on “The Five.” He positions himself as a “comedian” but isn’t really funny.
Who is Greg Gutfeld anyway? Ive never even heard of the guy
It all depends on who's getting tortured.
Watching Fox “News” and their amateur hosts is torture to the mind, body and soul.
Don’t expect this Franklin Square street hustler to waterboard for charity. He won’t do it. He is not man enough to do it for charity. In fact, his father, a war hero, is a bigger man than his shallow son.
