I think we all know which outrageous quote got the most attention last week. But there were others that deserve to at least be considered. Plus, we all have a lot of fun with this poll. So here, in addition to Megyn Kelly and her white Christmas, are a few more to consider.
Todd Starnes: “Did Atheist Airmen soil themselves at the sight of a plastic Baby Jesus?”
Sean Hannity: “(I)s it just me or does it look like President Obama’s more willing to give his time to our enemies than our allies?”
Gretchen Carlson: “Why do I have to drive around with my kids to look for nativity scenes and be like, ‘Oh, yeah, kids. Look, there’s baby Jesus behind the Festivus pole made out of beer cans?’”
And our odds-on favorite:
And by the way, for all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white but this person just arguing that maybe we should also have a black Santa but Santa is what he is. Just so you know, we’re just debating this because someone wrote about it, kids. OK, wanted to get that straight.
...Just because it makes you feel uncomfortable doesn’t mean it has to change. I mean, Jesus was a white man, too. He was a historical figure and that’s verifiable fact, as is Santa - I just want the kids watching to know that.
