Yesterday’s Forbes On fear mongered about the possibility that Obamacare cancellations may hurt small business workers. Several of the (as usual) imbalanced panel argued that President Obama was deliberately punishing small business with the program because they are Republicans. However, guest John Tamny took the bashing to a whole new level. He made the ludicrous suggestion that Obama’s efforts to reduce income inequality are a sign that he HATES poor people.
At about three minutes in, Tamny went off topic to make this accusation:
President Obama talks a big game about helping the common man and the poor, but his every policy from increasing the minimum wage to wealth distribution to Obamacare itself harms the poor people. It almost gives you the impression that he hates the people that he intends to help.
Only on Fox would an effort to raise the minimum wage and ensure health care to the uninsured be painted as harming the poor.
Welcome to the black-is-white, up-is-down world of Faux sNooze . . .
.
John Tamny is, as usual, wrong.
