Eric Bolling Goes All Bully-Boy Against Undeniable Truths: Another Aunty Em Annotated Transcript

A hint about watching Fox “News” critically: when it rejects all other Points of View, including mild, logical and non-controversial truths, you are witnessing the exact moment when the so-called “Fair & Balanced" network proves it nothing more than a Propaganda Network. It is pushing an agenda, not delivering news or viewpoints. There can be only one viewpoint. The Fox “News” viewpoint. And, don’t you forget it. Ever since S&P downgraded the credit rating, it’s been harder than ever to watch Fox “News” if you believe in journalism, as opposed to Propaganda. The “Fair and Balanced” network has been heavily invested in saving the Tea Party from any and all criticism. It’s the “we report, you decide” network’s greatest Propaganda Push since it helped promote the nascent astro-turfed Tea Party in the first place. “Some people say” this the Tea Party downgrade. That notion has sent Fox and its on-air personalities into barely-concealed snits and they have invested heavily in blaming “Mr. Obama” (as Eric Bolling often calls him) and/or defending the Tea Party.

Is Brian Kilmeade The Stupidest Man On Fox News Or Just A Right Wing Shill?

It’s an open question. The Fox and Friends brain (Brian?) trust has been known to say some monumentally stupid things on Fox “News,” occasionally when he’s adlibbing off the teleprompter. He’s also been known to say some monumentally stupid things that dovetail nicely with the Right Wing meme du jour. These appear to be scripted. It doesn’t take long, looking through the News Hounds, to find examples of both. Like the time he mocked Planned Parenthood or when he (accidentally on purpose?) reversed the results of a poll showing Americans favored collective bargaining. Then there was the time he validated the claim that there’s an “anchor baby” invasion. For agitprop there was the time he attacked Mennonites for being un-American. For sheer stupidity, insensitivity, and racism, there was the time he wondered why a Spanish language station would give American temperatures. Or, how about the time he said that all terrorists are Muslim and abortion clinic bombers are not terrorists? And, that’s just a cursory glance at the News Hounds Brian Kilmeade archives. Those cited above could simply be put down to a lack of intelligence, if it weren’t for one thing: they also tend to repeat the Right Wing talking points floating around. Yesterday Brain Brian gave us a dandy little two-fer.

Glenn Beck Interviews Texas Governor Perry While Ignoring Koch Brothers Connection

Let me state my bias up front, which is something you’ll never hear from Fox “News” with its phony “Fair and Balanced” slogan: I lean to the left. Shocker, I know, but really, I do. Therefore, it’s only natural that I support the efforts of George Soros, in his philanthropy, to fund organizations which further an agenda that is aligned with my political point of view. However, that’s only ONE of the MANY reasons I have found Glenn Beck’s constant vilification of Soros troubling. But, let’s not get too deeply into the weeds and just stick with that single topic as I examine Beck’s interview yesterday with Texas Governor, and possible presidential candidate, Rick Perry.

The Fox News Tweet Du Jour – Judgenap Forgets Channel Slogan

Let’s hope that Fox “News” Senior Judicial Analyst Andrew P. Napolitano showed more fairness and balance as a Superior Court judge in New Jersey than he does on the air and in his tweets. Here he gives marching orders to teabaggers:

Glenn Beck Was For Economic Terrorism Before He Was Against It

As Glenn Beck’s ratings continue to tank, and with open talk that Fox “News” might not renew his contract this December, the Historian Emeritus of Beck U keeps soldiering on at his chalkboard. Beck continues to draw equations in order to find his Unified Conspiracy Theory—much like Albert Einstein spent the latter part of his life at chalkboards trying to find a Unified Field Theory—in order to link every evil actor in the world working together in concert to collapse the system and bring on the inevitable New World Order that will result. When the unrest began in the Middle East he thought he was almost there: Communists, Socialists, Marxists, The Muslim Brotherhood, The White House, Code Pink, etcetera, so forth and so on, are going to work in concert to bring chaos to the Middle East in order to drive a stake through the heart of everything Beck and good, decent Americans holds dear. However, there was still something missing—there were holes in Beck’s theory that required plugging before he could announce his Eureka moment. So this week he added a new wrinkle: Economic Terrorism. And, with no degrees of separation, he managed to make it a plot hatched by an evil cabal operating at the White House—even, GASP!, inside the Oval Office itself.
