Getting “emotional” over a topic has many different ways of manifestation (i.e. sidestepping the main issues, projecting certain facts, attacking the person vis-a-vis the issue, exaggerating). It can happen once in a while, but when it persists endlessy – one must simply leave the issue and move on. it is pointless to attempt to “outlogic” someone elses sentiments; and, even if it were possible, such “victory” leads ultimately to defeat as a proper human being.
I think I properly made my point that “violence” is the real social enemy – “racism” is a mere cover-up; a cowardly excuse to deny another human being his/her basic rights. “Black”, “white”, “liberal”, or “conservative”, – a human being has no right to use his/her own power to deny another human being their own human rights. Neither the public media nor political organizations care to balance themselves with the real issues, and instead they flare people’s tempers with all their noise – like someone frantically and needlessly struggling in quicksand.
It seems to me that you MUST always have the last word. O.K. – I understand. Aside from this I’m quite acceptable to your last line – “Nuff” said on this topic.
