Brian Kilmeade Says In State Texas Tuition "Basically Free"

Fox & Friends is an official Fox opinion show during which the curvy couch crew articulate all manner of opinion, some of which is different from those who don't reside in Foxworld. But I suppose it's not their fault. Take, for instance, Brian Kilmeade. Last week, Fox & Friends ran a segment with various stories related to those scary, evil "illegal aliens." In what seemed to be a contest for how many times the term "illegal aliens" was used, Kilmeade noted that while Rick Perry was criticized for the Texas policy of allowing instate tuition for undocumented immigrants, Mitt Romney is facing some heat over the Massachusetts health care plan which covers the undocumenteds. Kilmeade, in referencing the Texas tuition, said that it's "basically free." There are many Texas colleges and universities but the cheapest is Collin County Community College which charges $1180.00 for Texas residents. Instate tuition for the University of Texas at Austin is a pricier $7670. Neither of these sums is "basically free." I guess that if you live in Massapequa, a community where the median income is $107,181, your perspective might be a bit skewed?

Gretchen Carlson Outraged That "Irresponsible" Immigrants Don't Speak English

As a patriotic Merkan, Blonde, Aryan, Fox culture warrior princess, Gretchen Carlson knows that Merka is a Christian nation from whose tongues should roll only the English language. Any attempt to accommodate those who speak other languages (read Spanish) is seen by the former Miss America as an affront to the very values that the nation and Fox "News" are based upon - values that are being destroyed by those evil "illegals" that Fox "News" is always warning us about! Thus, she's fighting mad about a Cleveland Ohio program that provides translation assistance for non English speaking parents of school children. Never mind the fact that "Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 guarantees "meaningful access" and "adequate notice" for all services, regardless of national origin, which includes native language." Never mind the fact that providing translation services can assist both the school and the parents in formulating a quality educational plan. Never mind the fact that providing translation services assist the parents in understanding decisions made by the school. Gretchen Carlson lives in a posh Connecticut community where the only non English speakers are those who tend the house, garden, and children so who cares about that. But she is mighty pissed about those furriners in Cleveland who, according to Gretch, are being so "irresponsible."

Greg Gutfeld Spreads Misinformation - Columbus Day Has NOT Been Banned In Somerville MA

Thanks to Fox News and other right wing media outlets, the story that a Somerville Principal has "banned" Columbus Day has gone viral. On Sunday, the weekend Fox & Friends, sourcing from the conservative Boston Herald, proclaimed that a Somerville school had "banned" fall holidays. And yesterday, Greg Gutfeld advanced this story which just isn't true. Somerville School Superintendent Tony Pierantozzi clearly stated, in the Somerville News, that “There is absolutely no validity to the stories that are everywhere about banning celebrations, banning all holidays, banning Halloween. At no time did anyone representing the Somerville Public Schools state that holidays or celebrations would be reduced, changed or curtailed." As this was reported today, and Gutfeld's commentary was yesterday, we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But the question is whether he will issue a correction. But in addition to the misinformation, Gutfeld mocked the teacher's comment about the need to treat the issue of Columbus Day with "sensitivity" given what happened to the indigenous population after Columbus showed up. But hey, that's right wing "humor" for ya! If ignorance is bliss, these clowns are in wonderland!

Gretchen Carlson Is Proud Of TX Student Who "Took A Stand" Against Mexican "Indoctrination"

Fox & Friends (Or as Foxpriest Jonathan Morris calls it "Fix & Friends") is a Fox show that underscores Jon Stewart's comment about how Fox's genius is in providing a platform for conservative victimization. There is no victimized conservative who doesn't get a warm welcome on the "morning happy-talk show that Ailes uses as one of his primary vehicles to inject his venom into the media bloodstream." There is no persecuted patriot, Christian, Christian patriot, patriotic student, and patriotic Christian student who doesn't get a warm welcome on Fox & Friends which wraps itself in the red, white, and blue. Today's patriotic right wing feels victimized by what they perceive to be cultural influences that seek to undermine real Merka as we know it - particularly the "gay agenda" and educational programs that seek to foster appreciation for foreign languages and culture - most notably Hispanic. So it's no surprise that "melancholy cornhusk" (love ya, Gawker) Gretchen Carlson would have provided warm affirmation for a Texas student who claims that her school is indoctrinating students by forcing them to recite the Mexican Pledge of Allegiance and sing the Mexican national anthem in Spanish. That they are supposedly being forced to participate in this shameful activity, in Spanish class, is the newest outrage in real Merka where doing this could turn your child brown. Enter Fix & Friends.

Martha MacCallum's "Illegals" Fact - A Lie Or Faulty Fact Checking?

Fox News alleged "news" anchor, Martha MacCallum, said (9/28), regarding approval for in-state tuition rates for undocumented students, that the people of RI "didn't get to voice their opinion on this" - a position taken by those who opposed the decision of the RI Board of Governors for Higher Education. She went to say, regarding the citizens of RI, that "The polls in RI, according to the Providence Journal, show that they're very much against it." The Providence Journal had only a few articles on this topic and none of them cited any polling data. So I contacted the "ProJo" and discovered that, surprise, surprise, Ms. MacCallum was either lying or had done/had been given faulty research information as the folks at the newspaper did not do any polling nor did they publish any results of polls in their articles about the in-state tuition.
