Frox News Tries To Suggest Stimulus A Waste Of Money
Guest blogged by Brian
A segment in which Fox News accused the White House of exaggerating the number of jobs created by the stimulus was obviously an attempt to suggest the whole thing was a fraudulent waste of money - without the burden of doing any real investigation. Fortunately, former Congressman Martin Frost nailed them on the tactic. With video.

The opening segment of yesterday’s Your World (10/15/09) focused on the Dow reaching 10,000. Neil Cavuto asked, "What was once the Bush recession is now the Bush recovery? Guest blogged by Brian
On Friday’s (10/2/09) Your World, Mike Huckabee came by to attack discuss Obama’s record on unemployment. Host Neil Cavuto began by noting that the jobless rate reached 9.8% last month, “much worse than expected.” Huckabee started by repeating a false Republican talking point that Obama had promised that the stimulus would prevent unemployment from rising about 8%. In fact, Obama did not make that promise. But Cavuto never corrected the record. With video.

Bulls & Bears Baselessly Blames Obama For G20 Protest Violence
Guest blogged by Brian
On Saturday (9/26/09), Bulls & Bears used a discussion about the protests at the G20 economic Summit in Pittsburgh as an opportunity to attack President Barack Obama. Rather than discuss the summit or the protests, the segment was framed around the suggestion from conservative panelist Gary B. Smith that violence at the protest, as well as anti-American sentiment at the U.N. is Obama’s fault. Smith never offered any direct connection between Obama's supposed anti-capitalistic views and the protests and host Brenda Buttner never asked for any. With video.

Neil Cavuto Worried Working Class Families Will Get A Break
Reported by Brian
On Thursday's (9/3/09) Your World, Neil Cavuto repeatedly complained to Democratic strategist Taylor West that President Obama giving $85 billion in tax breaks to low and middle income families was somehow letting them get away without paying their “fair share.” As West noted, it was laughable hypocrisy for Cavuto to be attacking Obama’s tax rebates for working class families as unfair after years of Bush tax cuts for wealthy Americans. Cavuto claimed the difference was between a tax cut and a tax rebate. But as West noted, why not give stimulus to those who need it most and who will more likely spend it? West did an excellent job of holding her own. With video.
