While Donald Trump waits for Megyn Kelly to apologize for asking a debate question he didn’t like, he figures he’ll do a little slut shaming of her for talking with Howard Stern about sex.
On Morning Joe today, Trump complained that Megyn Kelly’s now-famous question about his calling women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals” was “very inappropriate.” That’s right, there was nothing inappropriate about Trump’s sexist attacks on women, in his view. It was all Kelly’s fault for bringing it up.
And since then, Trump has thrown a temper tantrum, calling Kelly a “bimbo” and suggesting she was having her period during the debate. He told Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough, “She should really be apologizing to me, you want to know the truth, and other candidates have said that.”
Even worse, Trump is now slut shaming Kelly – with a little help from Newsmax. The conservative site wrote, “Megyn Kelly may have suggested that she was turned off by Donald Trump’s sexist remarks, but that didn’t stop her from rollicking with Howard Stern, discussing her breasts and her husband’s penis size and engaging in some graphic sex talk.”
For some reason, Trump thinks this excuses his sexism. “I am the innocent (pure) one!” he tweeted, as if he had just won some sort of victory.
If you ask me, Kelly was only kinda sorta raunchy in her 2010 interview with Stern but you can listen to it below and decide for yourself. Regardless, equating sexual frankness with calling women “disgusting animals” not only doesn’t excuse Trump's misogyny, it signals that Kelly was right about it all along.
Again, Megyn Kelly should not be considered any kind of hero for women or for anything other than Fox News memes and advancing her own career. And, yes, I agree that Trump was set up in the debate. But rather than handle the situation like a Commander in Chief, Trump has behaved like a spoiled brat.

Trump: Megyn Kelly should be apologizing to me!
Donald Trump upped the ante in his feud with Fox News host Megyn Kelly on Monday, telling "Morning Joe" that she owes him an apology. "The fact is, she asked me a very inappropriate question, she should really be apologizing to me, you wanna know the truth," Trump said in a phone interview.
Ellen, you wrote that like it’s something out of the ordinary for tRump. It’s SOP for The Donald.
