It’s so horrible what goes on in our schools nowadays, gentle reader. Liberal activists teaching our children to stomp on the name of Jesus and blame the US for terrorism – can you believe it? Never fear: Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck are fighting bravely to save kids from all that left-wing indoctrination. Last night, ex-Fox anchor Beck appeared on Bill O’Reilly's show to vent and kvetch, and to brag about how Fox News was putting the issue in the public eye. They discussed two examples in particular:
Example 1: A video called “Remembering September 11th”, which was shown to fifth graders in Corpus Christi, Texas, and which really upsets Beck because it “blames the US and not radical Islam” for terrorist attacks. The clip that was played on the show went like this:
Kid: “Why would the terrorists be so mad at us anyway?”
Man: “A lot of people blame the United States for problems around the world.”
Kid: “I don’t get it.”
Man: “America is such a big and powerful country that the decisions we make here affect other countries around the world. And a lot of people think that we don’t use our power the right way. That’s because sometimes the things that we do here can have a negative effect on other countries. And a lot of people disagree with the decisions and policies that the United States has.”
Though O’Reilly acknowledged that the US sometimes uses its power poorly, to Beck the video was just another example of the liberal indoctrination of our kids - "much worse than any of us think". What really horrified him was that it was being shown in Texas. “The last real stronghold of the Republic – we lose Texas and we lose the entire country” (!) and that it had been shown in classrooms since 2002 and it was “incredible” that no parent had caught it before.
Example 2: Ryan Rotela, the “devout Mormon” who was suspended after refusing to stomp on the word “Jesus” in a class at Florida Atlantic University. A class taught, as O’Reilly noted by the “Vice Chair of the Palm Beach Democratic Party.” (Horrors!) The university apologized – after Fox got onto the story, Beck and O’Reilly bragged – and removed the professor from the course. But O’Reilly was upset that he was still teaching at all when he “shouldn’t be in a college classroom unless you have a Republican party activist right across the hallway.” (Really? I don’t know if FAU associate professor James Tracy is a Republican activist, but he did claim, not long ago, that the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School may have just been invented to increase public support for gun control. My quick search of the Fox News web site didn’t turn up anything on him). And they said FAU had only apologized because Fox turned publicized the story. "What are they doing when the spotlight is not on them?” asked Beck.
Well, the spotlight of Florida’s Grand Inquisitor Governor Rick Scott is now turned on FAU. Apparently he’s sent a letter to the university expressing his “deep disappointment”, about the incident and asking for a report on how it was handled, and assurance that it won’t happen again.
“Billy claims he looking out for the masses, yet the old fool doesn’t practice what he preaches when it comes to his own children.”
AMEN! Always keep this in mind Antoinette: contrary to what O’Lielly WANTS you and his viewers to believe, he DID NOT, I REPEAT, DID NOT have a “hardscrabble childhood”. Quite the contrary — as pointed out brilliantly by Sen. Al Franken in his bestselling book “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look At The Right”, O’Lielly was born and raised in an environment of WEALTH AND PRIVILEGE! I know this because like O’Lielly, I also grew up on Long Island (Seaford, NY) and I KNOW VERY WELL that the tuition at two of the private schools he attended — St. Brigid’s, which is located in the TONY AND UPSCALE suburb Westbury, NY (not middle class suburb Levittown as O’Lielly constantly claims) and Chaminade High School, which is located in nearby Mineola, NY — is VERY EXPENSIVE! Furthermore, according to Marvin Kitman’s book “The Man Who Would Not Shut Up”, back in 1963 O’Lielly DID NOT have the high grades that are required to get accepted into Chaminade, one of the MOST ELITE AND PRESTIGIOUS private high schools on Long Island. But, like his hero G.W. Bush did with Ivy League member Yale University, O’Lielly was able to overcome that HUGE obstacle thanks to his WELL-OFF AND WELL-CONNECTED FATHER William O’Reilly Sr. — one of the guidance counselors at Chaminade was good friends with William O’Reilly Sr.
Billy claims he looking out for the masses, yet the old fool doesn’t practice what he preaches when it comes to his own children.
Infestation is not in public schools, it’s in the homes of dysfunctional families, including the wealthy ones.
NOTE TO BILLY
Let’s talk about the destruction of the family. Crickets.
And, with as much time as he spent in school, who would know better . . .
.
“Never fear: Bill O’Reillly and Glenn Beck are fighting bravely to save kids from all that left-wing indoctrination.”
Translation: Bully O’Lielly and Glenn BecKKK are fighting to get American children to RESPECT, BELIEVE AND OBEY AUTHORITY — not to THINK FOR THEMSELVES and ask questions.
