Paging Greta Van Susteren! Given your concern about denigration of women, I’m sure you’ll want to know the kind of joke that your colleagues, Dennis Miller and Bill O’Reilly, think is funny: fantasizing about throwing Nancy Pelosi off a cliff.
During his regular Wednesday night gig on The O’Reilly Factor tonight, Miller said:
I like (Paul) Ryan. They’re going to try to demonize him. Although, you know, I don’t believe he’s the guy who pushes the old woman (off a cliff in an ad by a liberal group). But you know, when I watch that commercial, I often fantasize that the old woman he’s pushing off a cliff is Pelosi.
That got quite a hearty chuckle from O’Reilly. “I knew you were going to say that. I knew it," he said. "I knew you were going to say that.”
Can you imagine the outrage if a conservative said such a thing about, say, Sarah Palin?
The comment occurs at about :55 in the video below.

Despite his famous rant of doing it live, when Bill does do a live Factor on a rare occasion, he shows that he definitely needs the advantage of being able to edit. With Millerâs interview being recorded in advance they made the choice to allow his stupidity, not comedy for all of us to see.
While I think itâs ridiculous to challenge someone to a bet on the internet where you canât trust because you canât verify the person will keep their word I do make a bet with my Republican family and friends each Presidential election. We make a $20 bet and the loser has to give the money to our local animal shelter. I would suggest Mr. Campbell that you do the same to the charity of your choice with your liberal friends and family.
I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t- and neither would the rest of the far right. For all your talk about how the left has no sense of humour, we have no problem with jokes about Hillary, Michelle and Nancy. The right can’t say the same about Ann, Michelle and Sarah- they throw a fit at even the cleanest joke, and they’ve actually demanded multiple shows be taken off the air over jokes.
But that certainly doesn’t stop them from protecting comments that aren’t jokes, even in contexts, like Rush Limbaugh calling Sandra Fluke a slut 53-70 times (depending on your source), Megyn Kelly putting Lana Rosas on trial, Fox Nation’s death threats against Obama’s wife and daughters, or this kind of talk about Pelosi.
Yeah, the right’s a joke… but unlike MLP, I’m not laughing.
Since you claim to have just ‘found’ Newshounds, I can understand you not knowing that I am one of the many vets that have posted here for years. However, unlike you, we just don’t talk about our military service much. Maybe because we weren’t awarded the status of ‘heroes’…..and maybe because we were wise enough to realize that we were nothing more than tools of a much larger plan by those that cared little for our fate. We don’t have to prove anything to anyone….we were just trying to get home.
But I’m glad that YOU were charged with the responsibility of saving the home of the brave, and land of the free. Unfortunately, the nation we ‘owe’ to you and those like you may still have more than a few problems.
And here’s a little advice for you, Grasshopper….learn more about people before reacting based on projection, preconceived notions and information gleaned from questionable sources.
But, really, thanks for the comedy ‘gold’.
The bet??? Let’s see if you’re around a bit first.
Well, guess what? I believe that the Hounds are still waiting for the cash…….
Kinda love that RW ‘personal responsibility’ thingy, don’t we? Like I said…you people are fucking comedy gold!!
Bile trying to make himself more intelligent and jovial by hanging out with the likes of Beck and Miller, none are kind, appealing or funny.
