Colbert reveals true FOX motto
In a hilarious segment announcing Barack Obama's inauguration as 44th POTUS, Stephen Colbert apologizes for breaking his agreement with his faux FOX audience: "You watch, and I scream." Much more fitting than their advertising slogan "We report, you decide," isn't it? Video below.

FOX compares apples and orchards to bring "balance" to Palin wardrobe scandal
One of the Special Report "Grapevine" items last night, titled "Sarah Palin Not the Only Candidate Who Received Wardrobe Help," attempted some Republican Rehab by informing viewers that Democrats did it too.

Thank god for small favors. O'Reilly has announced that, due to an unsustainable work schedule, he will discontinue his daily talk radio program and devote himself full-time to the television O'Reilly Factor. O'Reilly's radio show ranked 13th in the country (in a 3-way tie for ninth, following three two-way ties 'above' him) , drawing 1/4 of Rush Limbaugh's audience.

Brock demands full disclosure of NBC military analyst's ties
David Brock of Media Matters for America has issued a letter to NBC News President Steve Capus, scolding NBC for their repeated use of General Barry R. McCaffrey as an NBC News military analyst without disclosing, each time, his position as board director for defense contractor DynCorp International.

Wall Street Post? New York Journal? Murdoch's papers mingle.
A year ago we began warning that Rupert Murdoch's purchase of the Wall Street Journal could only mean a decline in that paper's quality. Now Politico reports that WSJ reporters are finding their work reprinted in another Murdoch holding, the tabloid New York Post.
