Chris Wallace Breaks Fox News' First Commandment - By Criticizing Romney

Posted by Ellen -394.80pc on September 14, 2012 · Flag

Apparently Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace took that whole "fair and balanced" thing a little too far on Fox & Friends this morning. In a discussion about the violence in the Middle East, Wallace dared to criticize Mitt Romney. Doesn't he know that's what the "liberal media" does, not Fox?

Gretchen Carlson tried to set him straight.

bemused commented – “It’s not so long ago that anybody who showed lack of respect for President Bush was charged with treason.”

Yep. I remember it well. And as I commented on another thread, kkklannity, by his own standards, should be in prison serving a life sentence for his complete lack of respect for President Obama. The FoxGOPTV pukes and various neocons prove their hypocrisy day after day.

This is why I’ve never considered Gretchen to be a journalist. She doesn’t interview, she lectures those who dare to disagree with her opinions. It’s as if she has this Kneel before Zod attitude when she gets that serious, robotic look on her face. It’s kinda of spooky.

From bemused’s comment:

“Chris Wallace, in particular, has let the side represented by his father down.”

And here’s the ONE AND ONLY reason why — these are the chorus lines of a classic Cyndi Lauper hit:

“Money changes everything
Money changes everything
We think we know what we’re doing
We don’t pull the strings
It’s all in the past now
Money changes everything….”

I’m particularly intrigued by the “asides”. On F&F, Brian “quipped”:

“Don’t ask the President, he seems confused by it all”

It’s not so long ago that anybody who showed lack of respect for President Bush was charged with treason. I don’t query Brian’s right to criticise anybody, only the hypocrisy of someone who proudly claims to work for a F&B channel. With very few exceptions (e.g. Shep, albeit sporadically) the foxy journalists are a disgrace. Chris Wallace, in particular, has let the side represented by his father down.

I’ve noticed that, too, and it ain’t pretty. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to learn that some pink slips have arrived.

Incredulous Gretchen can’t believe Chris doesn’t blame the real culprits—the reporters.
Two things, Gretch—

a. Do the Fox “reporters” blame themselves when they goad someone into saying something controversial? Mitt doesn’t seem to have any problems dodging and avoiding the myriad other questions he’s asked everyday.

Fox News has been falling apart lately. Half the hosts are melting down, the other half is fighting with each other.

None of the usual suspects seem to know why. The origin must have been invitation only.

MagicUnderwear MItt steps all over his own schlong with an ill-timed, ill-advised news conference where he spews out once again a lie about President Obama. And whose fault is this? According to Retchin and Brain, it’s that damn mainstream media which keeps asking those pesky factual questions.
