It’s been less than two weeks since Bill O’Reilly called for a boycott of Mexico and already he thinks he’s seeing results!
During a discussion about the immigration crisis with Juan Williams and Mary Katharine Ham, O’Reilly paused to say this, in an unmistakeable note of gloating:
After I called for a boycott on Thursday… guess what happened? Do you know what happened after that, Juan? …Well, here’s a fact for you, Juan. Digest this:
Two days later, there’s a raid – a joint raid, with Mexican authorities and Americans. And they go into the big people-smuggler’s estate. And they grab ‘em and arrest ‘em and free a couple of hundred kids who were being held there. Oh, just by accident! Oh, that just happened by accident! We couldn’t find any other raids, Juan, in the last two years. This is bull. You should know it’s bull. They’re all lying. They all knew it was happening, they didn’t do anything and now they got caught…
Williams said he hoped that the government reacted to O’Reilly’s boycott - but he was skeptical. “Wait a minute. …You really think that because of what you said, you set government policy in motion and it led to a raid?” Williams asked.
O’Reilly insisted otherwise. He said, “Not just me! But the crescendo of criticism! Not just me!”
Of course, it was just himself that O'Reilly referred to in his run up. But I digress.
Williams had a good answer:
I’m gonna tell you that it was the crescendo of these kids at the border in a refugee crisis that is straining all of our hearts because it’s a human tragedy!
Oh, that Juan is such a killjoy!
Watch the exchange below and decide for yourself what O’Reilly was trying to say.

Why no mention of the raids by the FBI on Ruthless Rupy and News Corporation? Maybe the masses should call all talk radio shows and ask this very question.
Seriously- Let’s pursue facts here, Bill.
BOR is becoming more and more like Limbaugh every day. He’s getting into the twilight years of his teevee career and he’s getting desperate with regards to his legacy. No doubt he added this raid to his list of accomplishments. Bwaaah!
Btw, I think Juan is probably right – if any outside force propelled this raid, it was the children at the border issue.
