Bill O’Reilly offered up his solution for the immigration crisis on the border last night. And guess what? A big chunk of O’Reilly’s comprehensive solution – which he promised would solve the whole problem in a week – was his boycott.
During his weekly discussion with Fox News reporter James Rosen, O’Reilly said about the immigration crisis:
This could be shut down in a week. In a week. You put the guard on the border, you say to Mexico, “You just seal your southern (sic) border or you can forget about this trade agreement or that trade agreement. And then we’re going to boycott you like O’Reilly is and nobody’s going down there.” And wait till you see, Rosen, how that solves this problem. How fast it gets solved.
O'Reilly has previously boasted about how effective his boycott has been. I'm surprised he didn't think the president only needed to say, "I'm calling on every American to join O'Reilly's boycott" and watch the Mexicans fold like a cheap suit! Or maybe O'Reilly was just being modest.
Watch O’Reilly show off his international policy chops below.
Just don’t ask how long the national guard will be on the border (forever); what trade agreement Bill is referring to (nothing specific); or why he thinks the US could renege on a trade agreement just because it wants to (we shouldn’t have to obey laws and treaties if they become inconvenient!). Also don’t ask what’s involved in ‘sealing’ the border. (I always picture Saran Wrap-but that can’t be right!).
Umm…Billy we have a slight problem. You may want to address it to your aging audience.

Apparently, News Corporation does business in Mexico. We don’t hear Billy calling out Ruthless Rupert. If he won’t, the masses will.
