It’s pretty ironic for Trumpkin Ben Carson to be complaining about division among the Republicans.
It’s hard to think of any Republican who has caused more division within his own party (and at Fox News) than Donald Trump. But last night, Trump-supporter Dr. Ben Carson complained about the animosity that is rocking the GOP and its candidates:
CARSON: When they engage in this type of rhetoric, they drive wedges between their supporters. So whoever of the three ends up being the nominee will have a great deal of animosity built up from the supporters of the others and they’re not gonna want to get behind them. That’s going to essentially guarantee a victory by the Democrats and if the Democrats win, they get 2-4 Supreme Court picks and America as we know it will be gone.
Actually, it’s the Republicans who want to undo the “America as we know it.” They’re the ones who are dying to repeal ObamaCare, privatize Social Security, “reform entitlements,” privatize the Post Office, turn back the clock on abortion, and more.
When people like Carson talk about the “America as we know it,” what they really mean is “America the way we wish it would be.” The America as we know it seems to be something they can’t stand.
Watch it below, from the March 30 Hannity.
Just as it would have been if Dems won in 2008 and 2012 — right, Ben?
