Fox Nation Still Longing For Occupy Protesters To Be Murdered
By Aria
As many Newshounds know, I have been spending a lot of time on Fox Nation lately, creating a “case file” of the violent ill-will their “civil, tolerant” membership displays towards the movement. I began doing this after readers threatened Van Jones after Fox Nation posted an inflammatory - and distorted - article about him. Since then, the unhinged hatred has continued: finding police brutality against Occupy protesters "inspiring," openly discussing murdering the Occupy protesters and finding it "funny" when an Occupy Oakland protester got hit by a car. So it's not all that surprising that this article, showing the police beating arm-linked protesters with little to no provocation, got voted as "inspiring." However, the zeal for violence against the protesters - and yes, more talk of murder - is literally sickening.

"Civil," "Tolerant" Fox Nation Finds Oakland Police Attacks On Occupy Protesters "Inspiring"
By Aria and Ellen
As most probably already know, the Occupy Oakland (California) protest turned ugly earlier this week when police fired tear gas at the protesters and an Iraq war veteran became critically injured. Somehow the wounded veteran - who would almost surely have been a hero had he been wounded at a Tea Party protest - never made it into a Fox Nation post about the clash. You'll get rid of the protesters and fleas all in one swoop!" When asked for their opinion of the post, "The Nation" voted it "inspiring."

Fox Nation Pretends Van Jones Threatened Violence – And Their Readers Responded With Real Threats
By Aria
For a site that likes to claim it stands for tolerance, Fox Nation sure does print some doozies. Take for instance, their post questioning whether Van Jones (a favorite Fox News scapegoat) had threatened violence on MSNBC’s Last Word, the full segment of which can be seen below. Note that even in Fox's clip, Jones didn’t actually threaten violence. It’s even clearer in the full segment that he was talking about the American Dream Movement. But guess who was overtly and unmistakeably threatening violence? The Fox Nation readers. The situation got so bad that Fox Nation closed the comments. But not before I was able to capture some screen grabs. Warning: Not for those with delicate stomachs.

News Corp Facing More Legal Troubles Here And Abroad
By Aria and Ellen
As you may know, News Corporation’s phone hacking troubles overseas may have opened up the American-based corporation to charges under the US Foreign Corrupt Policy Act. The media giant hired big American legal guns as the conglomerate that owns Fox News faces possibilities of criminal liabilities here in the U.S. Meanwhile, News Corp. faces two new civil suits.

Well, it appears that Australia will be investigating Rupert Murdoch. Prime Minister Julia Gillard has said she's open to the kind of wide-ranging investigation that has been called for by long-time Murdoch critic, the leader of Austrailia’s Green party, Bob Brown.
