Our readers saw right through Andrea Tantaros' faux sympathy for the families of the missing Malaysian plane passengers - which just happened to remind her of the families of the Benghazi victims. Not only that, our readers voted Tantaros' comments the Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week last week.
In case you missed it, Tantaros said:
(W)atching the footage of that Malaysian woman that was being played over and over last night, it’s just so sad. But think how long it took for them to get this kind of media attention? I mean, living in Malaysia, the government seemingly ignored these people. They didn’t want their stories out. They weren’t talking to them. …You see the cameras rolling. They were saying, “No one has come to my house. No one has told me what has happened. …Feels like the families of Benghazi. Just saying.
Tantaros earned 104, or 39%, of the 270 total votes cast. She left her nearest competitor, Bill Hemmer, speaking about finding Noah's Ark, in the dust. I think we can all agree it's a well-deserved win for "Punchy."
