Hannity Fomenting Civil War – Again
One day after Ann Coulter said that Rahm Emanuel’s brother is on her “death list,” Sean Hannity upped the ante by fomenting civil war – and not for the first time. The Southern Poverty Law Center has just released a report about the return of the militia movement, stating that there has been “a remarkable rash of domestic terror incidents since the presidential campaign, most of them related to anger over the election of Barack Obama. At the same time, ostensibly mainstream politicians and media pundits have helped to spread Patriot and related propaganda.” One law enforcement authority stated, "All it's lacking is a spark. I think it's only a matter of time before you see threats and violence." Instead of doing its part to quell these threats, “we like America” Fox News has been actively fanning the flames of hostility and even ratcheting them up. The latest frightening example was on Thursday night’s Hannity show (8/13/09) in which he repeatedly hinted that a new revolutionary war is needed, complete with a suggestion that Obama is not a legal citizen. Even the caption on the video suggested that Americans need to “stand up and fight for their country.” With video.

Coulter Says Rahm Emanuel’s Brother Is On Her “Death List.” Where Does Fox News Draw The Line?
Given Fox News’ daily drumbeat of hostility and invective toward the Obama administration and Democrats, it was probably only a matter of time before someone talked on the air about killing a prominent Democrat. Not surprisingly, that someone turned out to be Ann Coulter on the Hannity show last night (8/12/09). But what is shocking, even for Fox News, is that nobody condemned her statement that Rahm Emanuel’s brother is on her “death list,” meaning she has him marked for euthanasia. In the past few months on Fox News, Glenn Beck called President Obama a racist, and got the all clear sign from the boss; Sean Hannity has regularly referred to Obama as a radical socialist who hates America; a Fox News regular, Michael Scheuer, called for a major terrorist attack to "save" the country; there have been thinly veiled incitements to civil war and now Ann Coulter is talking about killing a high-profile Democrat. We demand to know, does Fox News draw the line anywhere? Or is discussion of murder permissible on the “we like America” network? With video.
