Fox reporter Adam Housley made a snarky dig about President Obama’s decision not to attend France’s unity march. So much for that division between news and opinion pages Fox loves to tout. Again.
On Monday, Housley tweeted: “(White House Press Secretary) Earnest: “I don’t know how much of the Paris march the President watched.” Do you think he was switching back and forth between the game?” (my emphasis)
One of Housley’s followers tweeted back, “My question is what difference does it make? Did the French president come here after 911? Stay home & take care of business.”
Housley answered, “Actually he did,” about the French president coming here. I noticed Housley didn’t say anything about what difference it would have made had Obama gone.
Housley is supposed to be an objective reporter on Fox. You know, the kind that Fox claims doesn’t engage in editorializing. And while this isn’t strictly editorializing, it certainly sends a certain message, don’t you think?

NOTE TO HOUSLEY
Tamera picked the wrong man to marry.
Note about all the numbers in the above. I don’t really know how to properly format on this site (beyond the bold and strikethroughs) but this little mock-up FoxNoise report really deserved a bunch of “stage directions” but that would’ve really made for major clutter. So, if you wish, read the following stage directions and then go back and reread the “news story” as it would likely SOUND from one of the FoxNoise hacks.
1—Indicates a slightly sarcastic tone; you can virtually see the “air quote” marks being made.
2—Indicates a slightly louder volume, to emphasize the word for the right-wing audience
3—Indicates an appropriately exaggerated alarmist tone;
4—Indicates a tone that would be accompanied by a major eye roll; you can almost hear the eyes rolling
5—Indicates another louder tone, but also exaggerated to suggest shock
