Martha MacCallum Avoids Pedophilia Scandal In Discussing Papal Possibilities With Radical Anti-Abortion Priest
That Fox News is closely allied with anti-abortion extremists was underscored, yet again, on this morning's alleged "news" show, "America Live." As official Fox Priest, Fr. Jonathan Morris, is attending a seminar, Martha MacCallum brought in Fr. Frank Pavone who is head of a radical group of celibate, Roman Collared guys whose sole mission is to eliminate abortion rights. Pavone, a supporter of anti-abortion domestic terrorist Randall Terry, was first embraced by Fox News during the Terri Schiavo media circus when Pavone was the "spiritual advisor" to the Schindler family. He has been interviewed, on Fox "News," about the state of the Catholic Church which he thinks is just dandy. He was Fox's go to guy for lies about how the Canadian health system was treating a terminally ill child whom he "rescued." And today, he and his Catholic pal Martha MacCallum chatted about the issues confronting the next pope which for, Martha and Frank, don't include the systemic and global problem of Church enabled pedophilia. Shhh.....
Read moreBill O'Reilly Knows More About Pregnant Woman Than The Experts!
As part of his job of looking out for the folks, it's apparent that Bill O'Reilly feels that he can appoint himself judge and jury of pregnant women who, if they don't follow O'Reilly's 1950's standards of behavior, MUST BE PUNISHED. While O'Reilly is neither a medical clinician nor a lawyer, he feels that he is qualified to bloviate about a recent New Jersey Supreme Court decision which ruled that illegal drug use by a pregnant woman does not constitute child abuse. The case involved a woman who, because she tested positive for cocaine on the day that she gave birth to a baby who had traces of cocaine in his system, was found guilty of abuse and neglect. That finding was later overturned by the NJ Supreme Court and Bill O'Reilly, who is fuming about it, says it's crazy. And we all know that when it comes to women's bodies, Bill knows best! We know cuz he says so - and if you don't get it "there's something the matter with you," bitches!
Read moreIs Fox News Trying To Bury Breitbart’s ‘Friends Of Hamas’ Blunder?
Yesterday, the internet was buzzing over the revelation that a Breitbart.com allegation –- that Obama SecDef nominee Chuck Hagel had received money from a group called “Friends of Hamas” -- was bogus. It was an accusation echoed on Fox’s Lou Dobbs Tonight as well as by Mike Huckabee and elsewhere in the right wing. Yet, I watched three hours of Fox News prime time last night (The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity and On The Record) and didn’t hear a peep about it. Since then, I’ve watched most of Fox & Friends this morning (a three-hour show) and searched FoxNews.com. And nada.
Read moreFox Regular Hoenig: Unions Are Destroying The Country
On the February 16 Cashin’ In, host Eric Bolling opened a discussion about union protests of spending cuts by “asking” if “big labor (is) a big reason we’ll never fix our spending problem?” He directed the question to self-styled “Capitalist Pig” Jonathan Hoenig, whom Bolling surely knew would start the union bashing.

Only a few months into his first term as Senator, Ted Cruz (R-TX) is catching severe criticism for being arrogant, grim and a bully. An op-ed in Friday’s New York Times called him “an ornery, swaggering piece of work,” and Chris Matthews compared his style of questioning at the Hagel hearing to Senator Joe McCarthy’s. Obviously time for Fox to step in with some damage control. Yesterday on Special Report, Bret Baier’s All Star panel weighed in on the issue, and some thought yes, the liberal media had it in for the new guy from Texas.
Read moreBill O'Reilly Supports Reproductive Choice?
Bill O'Reilly is unabashedly anti-abortion. So much so that his media jihad against the murdered abortion provider, Dr. George Tiller earned him a "Courage Award" from the hate group, the Family Research Council. Bill is on a mission from God to, as he says, "fight for the unborn." (Course, once born, you're on your own!). But on last night's Factor, he supported a woman's right to choose which, in this case, involves a Texas 16 year old who, despite her parent's alleged pressure on her to have an abortion, wants to have her baby - a decision supported by a Texas judge - a decision applauded by O'Reilly who doesn't think anybody should be forced to have an abortion. But wait, isn't Bill O'Reilly a strong supporter of parental notification laws regarding abortion - laws that in the case of parents who don't give permission, would "force" a girl to have a baby?
Read moreFox’s Gerri Willis Calls Obama’s Preschool Push ‘Immoral’
On the 2/16/13 Cavuto on Business, the panel worried about the price tag for President Obama’s new “spending push.” Fox Business’ Gerri Willis said, "I think it's immoral to make all these promises when you know at the end of the day you can't afford it, we can't afford it. To say preschool for everybody, are you kidding me? We don't have the money for that. He also promises mortgage assistance, $3000 for everybody. This is just crazy talk, and I think it's immoral to put this across as something that’s actually doable when it's not."
Read moreVan Susteren Overlooks Key Evidence In Her Ohio Voter Fraud Hit Piece
Attorney Greta Van Susteren left out some important information in her report last night as she wrongly suggested that an epidemic of (black, Democratic) voter fraud broke out in Ohio during the last election. In case you missed the inference, FoxNews.com made it explicit with its title and subtitle of the video: How could an Obama supporter vote six times? Veteran Ohio poll worker under investigation for allegedly voting for Pres. Obama six times last November. A photo of the African American offender was positioned next to a head shot of Obama for the still on the video. Van Susteren was so aghast at the selective facts put forth by Fox’s “objective reporter” Eric Shawn, that she forgot to point out how exceedingly rare voter fraud is and that the system seemingly worked to catch what irregularities there are.
Read moreSean Hannity: 'Gutless' SNL Writers Hate Christianity But Are Scared Of Islam!
Among those in the radical Christian right, there is a mind set that the evil, librul mainstream media is bigoted towards Christians. Reinforcing their sense of victimization is their strongly held belief that the anti-Christian media would never treat Muslims with the same way. This is a common sentiment on any Christian "outrage" thread on Fox Nation and other right wing blogs. So it's not surprising that Fox News, the flagship "news" network for persecuted Christians and a venue for some serious Muslim bashing, would provide a platform for the meme of the media "double standard." Monday night, while promoting Christian "outrage" over last Saturday's SNL skit, in which a kick ass risen Jesus deals some death blows on the Romans, seminary drop out Sean Hannity also whined that the anti-Christian SNL would never disrespect Islam. Not surprisingly, he was validated by Fox Radio's very own "fundamentalist barking dog" Todd Starnes who is on a mission from God to expose those nasty Jesus hating, Mohammed loving heathens.
Read moreHerman Cain: Obama’s Popularity Due To 51% Being ‘Misled Enough To Vote For Him’
Fox may have gotten rid of Dick Morris but with the hire of Herman Cain, it looks like we’ll still have plenty of wacky punditry to laugh at for the foreseeable future. In fact, Cain's first appearance on The O’Reilly Factor tonight elicited the kind of O'Reilly response that I previously thought only attached to Morris: Oh, Come On. But that’s what Bill O’Reilly said when Cain argued that the reason President Obama is so popular is because “51% of the voters were misled enough to vote for him.”
