Fox's Jarrett Released From Dependency Treatment Just Before Intoxication Arrest
AP has some new details about the arrest of Fox News' Gregg Jarrett. He may have taken a drug that didn't mix well with alcohol - or should not have been taking at all. It appears he should not have been drinking either because a police report indicates he had just been released from an alcohol and drug rehab facility.

The Kelly File reacted to a letter by 50 U.S. Senators urging the N.F.L. demand the Washington Redskins change its name. First, guest Ben Shapiro whitesplained to Native Americans this should be "about a hundred on the list of issues facing Native American communities today." Later, host Megyn Kelly “asked” Shapiro for his thoughts on Congress “trying to, sort of, curtail the speech rights, basically of a professional football team.”

Back in January, Fox wall of genius Eric Bolling posed this question: "Where is the… Is there racism? I don’t think there’s racism. I think the only people perpetuating racism are people like this gentleman from NAACP, are the Al Sharptons of the world. Let’s move on. Let’s move on." Looks like Bolling, whose record on racial sensitivity is not exactly stellar, has been proven wrong about that! But then maybe Bolling thinks that a burning cross is just another way of being neighborly!

It looks like Fox News' Gregg Jarrett has a drinking problem. Last week, TVNewser reported that he had requested - and been granted - leave from Fox News "for personal reasons." Last night, he was arrested in an airport after an incident in which police reported he was intoxicated and belligerent.

James O’Keefe may be the world’s creepiest and least credible right-wing activist. But he got a prime-time appearance on Fox’s The Kelly File tonight to discuss his latest project, a new video supposedly exposing Hollywood hypocrisy. Without any inconvenient references by host Megyn Kelly to O’Keefe’s criminal record, his dishonesty and deception nor his alleged plan to sexually humiliate a female reporter from CNN.

Given that the two situations could not be more different, Palin may well have come up with the Worst Excuse To Play The Conservative Victim evah.

The divinely inspired Bill O'Reilly obviously believes that his daily bit of sagacity ("Tip of the Day") is a way to provide us mere mortals with sound advice from he who is looking out for us. But his words ring hollow when one considers that he often doesn't follow his own advice, such as when he instructed the folks to ignore "guttersnipes." Bill, as we well know, is pathologically incapable of ignoring his critics whom he subsequently attacks with full rhetorical guns blasting. Last night, before his dispensation of wisdom he worked in one last smear of Beyoncé and attacked a black woman who dared to criticize his bizarre and bogus correlation between Beyoncé and black teen pregnancy. Despite his never having met his critic, he advised the folks to calmly walk away from anybody whose views are "nonsense." His recent encounter with author and columnist Gabriel Sherman would suggest that he can't practice what he preaches!

Fox’s Your World show quickly responded to Governor Jerry Brown’s suggestion that climate change is to blame for California wildfires – via a one-sided discussion with a climate-change denier. The guest was David Kreutzer, merely introduced as being with The Heritage Foundation, without mention that he is a climate denier and that The Heritage Foundation is Koch-supported.
Read moreO’Reilly Calls Rubio’s Climate Denialism ‘Bold And Fresh’
Senator Marco Rubio followed up his climate denial on ABC’s This Week with a climate denial on The O’Reilly Factor last night. Predictably, O’Reilly did not ask any pesky questions about Rubio’s ridiculous attempt to make climate denial about abortion - as he did on Sean Hannity’s radio show last week – or his inability to cite any source that led him to conclude that human activity may not be causng climate change. In fact, even though Rubio’s comments on ABC were rated false by PolitiFact, O’Reilly gave him a pass on that, too. Instead, O’Reilly lauded Rubio as some kind of original thinker.
