Bill O'Reilly Enlists Virulently Anti-Gay Group In War On Christmas
Now that Christmas is just around the corner, Bill O'Reilly has officially declared the opening of his "nice tradition" of hate on earth and ill will to all those Jews and atheists who hate the baby Jesus - unlike Bill who is the baby Jesus' very own emissary on earth. As Newshounds Ellen reported, Bill was off to a flying start with his campaign to demonize everybody and everything that don't satisfactorily pay homage to the birthday of "the prince of peace." (Rampant commercialization of the holiday doesn't seem to bother Bill so go figure!)And to help him spread his Christmas bile, Bill has enlisted the services of the Alliance Defending Freedom (formerly known as the Alliance Defense Fund). This group, whose members appear on Fox to validate whatever noxious agenda Fox is pushing, love Jesus - gays, not so much as seen in their opposition to same sex marriage and attempts to expose the "homosexual agenda." So is it a surprise that they would be O'Reilly's soulmates of hate?!

Bill O’Reilly was full of malicious glee last night as he relished the official launch of his annual War on Christmas season. Oh, he’s already engaged in a few pre-season skirmishes. O’Reilly has been so consumed with the Christmas spirit that he couldn’t wait until after Thanksgiving – or even after Halloween – to initiate attacks on a public school in Wisconsin and a town in Maine. By November 1st, he had gone after a public school district in New Jersey. You could be forgiven for thinking that attacking people for not observing the holiday the way O’Reilly thinks you should is his personal reason for the season.

We live in a country where, according to the US Dept.of Agriculture, "1 in 5 children lived in a household where they or a family member did not know if they will go hungry tomorrow." But Fox News, which sees food stamp recipients as lazy slackers, doesn't seem to think that this is a problem. But now that a GOP Congresswoman is crafting a bill to address the concerns of South Dakota high school students, who are complaining about insufficient portions in their school lunches, Fox is concerned about these kids who, according to Rep. Kristi Noem, aren't getting enough to eat because of burdensome federal regulations. So the segment fits nicely with the Fox & Friends/right wing talking points about unnecessary government regulations especially those governing school lunches because, you know, freedom...

In case you were not persuaded that Chris Wallace's behavior in a previous Fox News Sunday segment yesterday was proof enough of his bias, check out his question to former Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) during the panel discussion.
Read moreMegyn Kelly's Hypocrisy: Rush Limbaugh Vs. Martin Bashir, Sandra Fluke Vs. Sarah Palin
Rush Limbaugh is a misogynist with a history of ugly commentary regarding women which reached its nadir with his three day diatribe against Sandra Fluke whom he classified as a "slut" who needed lots of birth control pills because she has so much sex. He recently compared filibuster reform to rape. Not only has Fox News' Megyn Kelly has never called him out on it; but she joined in the Fluke attacks and slut shaming. But when MSNBC's Martin Bashir, in reacting to Sarah Palin's ludicrous comparison of the national debt to slavery, spoke about the horrors of slavery and, inappropriately, suggested that Ms. Palin be subjected to a particularly cruel and crude punishment, Kelly had no problem attacking Bashir. Can we say "double standard?!"
Read moreWatch: Chris Wallace Can't Stand Liberal Opinions About ObamaCare
Fox News Sunday hosted a debate about the Affordable Care Act yesterday. But you didn't need any introduction from host Chris Wallace to figure out which person was the supporter, which one was against ObamaCare. All you needed to do was see who got interrupted and challenged. Guess which one that was? Meanwhile Wallace repeatedly dismissed as somehow irrelevant and not worth discussing concerns about coverage for individuals who currently can't get health insurance.

Outrageousness never seems to take a holiday on Fox News. This week's contenders for our Outrageous Quote of the Week include Mike Huckabee waxing sentimental about patriotism (for other people), Art Laffer worrying that too many people will get medical care under ObamaCare, "Sweatin' with the Oldies" Richard Simmons making a pass at Neil Cavuto and more. I hope you are rested up from the holiday, dear readers, because you've got your work cut out for you.
Read moreMike Huckabee Attacks Patriotism Of NJ Residents Who Complained About National Anthem Volume
Last week, the gang on the Fox & Friends curvy couch said that they were "up in arms" about how some residents, who lived near a NJ Naval Weapons Station, had the audacity to complain about the volume of the National Anthem which is played at the base during the morning flag raising ceremony. Not to be outdone in the phony patriotism department, Mike Huckabee, castigated those same residents who, according to Huckabee, should be thankful for the "sounds of freedom." You just can't make this stuff up - oh, wait a minute, this is Fox News where TV is reality. Never mind.

On yesterday’s Bulls and Bears, the panel discussed Black Friday protests at Wal-Mart stores over low wages. Not surprisingly, the “fair and balanced” panel was mostly on the side of Wal-Mart. Host Brenda Buttner seemed to get all her “facts” from a Wal-Mart press release. Her opening “question,’ which she asked twice, was whether or not the fight was really about “wage rage” or about “trying to boost union membership.”
