Governor Sam Brownback (R-KS) is “in the fight of his life,” as Fox host Neil Cavuto put it during a cozy interview earlier this week. Then Cavuto let Brownback do pretty much all the explaining why.

Fox priest in residence, Fr. Jonathan Morris, adamantly opposes any attempts, by the evil, secular government, to infringe upon the religious freedom of godly Christians. He even preached that clergy should be willing to die while protesting against the onerous ACA slut pill mandate. But now Fr. Morris wants the same evil secular government to prohibit the teaching of "radical" Islam in America's prisons because that is causing Islamic "radicalization" which, in turn, is making Americans unsafe. Where have I heard that before? Oh, that's right. It's Fox's newest fear factor meme in which Fox is making the unfounded connection of Alton Nolen, who was charged in the beheading death of his co-worker, to scary domestic Islamic radicalism perpetrated by scary black men (another Fox meme). And now, it's the gospel according to Fr. Morris. From his lips to Roger Ailes ears - or is it the other way around!

How do you think Fox & Friends would react to somebody who, on the "mainstream media," openly claimed that the Catholic Church is the greatest threat to the safety of children? One can only imagine the outrage from Fox talkers and Fox priests. Yet, Fox & Friends has no problem hosting somebody who unabashedly hates Islam and whose views on Jews border on the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion." During his two day Fox & Friends defamation of Islam, in 2012, "filmmaker" Eric Allen Bell's uninformed and bigoted claims were validated by uber-Catholic Eric Bollling. The Fox chyron described Bell's screed as "the truth about Islam." Today, Bell was on Fox & Friends for an almost uninterrupted four minute anti-Islam screed which Jesus BFF Elisabeth Hasselbeck didn't seem troubled by. Go figure.

In the alternate universe of Fox & Friends, the 1st Amendment protects the religious freedom of Christians to impose their beliefs into the public arena. That's the claim of a patriotic Christian student, who, on Monday, told a very reverential Elisabeth Hasslebeck, that she is "fighting" for her "right" to say "under God," in the sacred Pledge of Allegiance because the Constitution's protection of religious freedom comes from God and therefore God takes precedence over evil atheists who want to impose their godless views on the rest of us. In continuing its support for the religious freedom of Christian students who are being persecuted by evil atheists, this morning's Fox & Friends featured Elisabeth Hasselbeck validating what appears to be a blatant violation of the Constitution. But wait? Jesus wrote the Constitution so it's all good...
