Fox News is so up to its eyeballs in the Hillary Clinton health conspiracy that it's actually sourcing from the king of conspiracies, Alex Jones. And the really funny thing is that Fox is trying to make this latest bit of Jones' garbage (an attack on Google) look legit. We see you Fox News.
During a quick headlines segment on yesterday's Fox & Friends, Foxette Sandra Smith proffered this gem as FOX FACT: "People who are searching for information about Hillary Clinton, good luck googling. A new report says the search engine has been censoring results."
As proof of this nefarious Google conspiracy, she informed us that "when you start typing Hillary Clinton's health, on google, you get all sorts of suggestions that have NOTHING [she shouted the word] at all to do with her health." She showed a screen grab of the words "hillary clinton's he" typed into a Google search space. The results mysteriously did not show Hillary Clinton's health but other items beginning with "he" such as Hillary Clinton's headquarter and health care plan.
Adding fuel to the proverbial Fox dung fire, she did note that the requested results for Hillary's health come up if you use the search engines Bing and Yahoo. Screen grabs of these results were shown. During the piece, the banner framed the VERY IMPORTANT FOX MESSAGE: "Covering for Hillary, Rpt: Google Censors Health Results."
WHAT WASN'T MENTIONED was that the "new report" is from "Info Wars," a site run by conspiracy crazy Alex Jones. (The Fox News Insider article kindly provided a link!) Jones believes that Google has altered its algorithm to protect Hillary Clinton as it supposedly did with the search "Hillary body count." (yeah, seriously!). He also claims that unlike Bing and Yahoo, Google has contributed to the - wait for it - Clinton Foundation.
This being Fox & Friends, you weren't given a "fair & balanced" perspective which could have included Google's explanation of why the "autocomplete" might not yield the expected results: "The search term isn't popular; The search term is too new; You might need to wait a few days or weeks to see predictions; The search term was mistaken for a policy violation." Ergo, vast numbers of Google users might not be interested in Hillary Clinton's health. Those who are, most likely, don't need a search because they know exactly where, in the fever swamps of conspiracy websites, to go.
But here's the thing - if, on Google, you just add four more letters, to create "hillary clinton's health" and then hit enter, you'll get what you're looking for.
Wow. Fox & Alex Jones are really on to something. Wake up, sheeple. The jackbooted Clinton lizard people have taken over Google!
Seriously, you just can't make this stuff up. Oh, right, you can if you're Alex Jones and his media mouthpiece, Fox News!
Addendum: Using Bing, I went into the category for Hillary's health. There were two loonie-toonie things (including Breitbart) but the rest were factual articles which refuted the loonie-toonies. Not exactly the results that Jones would lead you to believe are "out there."
I have a bad feeling about googling Hillary and pickles. But it couldn’t be worse than googling Santorum.
Maybe that’s too big a job for a girly.
True — but, you have to keep in mind both Fox and its audience: neither are really up to snuff on such things as modern technology . . . or basic English.
I’ve gotta give to Fox, though: it was in late 2012 that the Talking Toilet Brush (aka John Bolton) accused Mrs. Clinton of “faking” her concussion in order to avoid testifying about Benghazi:

and refused to walk that back even when Mrs. Clinton went into the hospital shortly afterward:

So, in almost four years, Fox has gone from “She’s FAKING!!” to “she’s not healthy enough to assume office!!” That’s a step up — I guess . . .
.
Next up, the curvy couch bobble-heads pitch ‘food safety’ and other prepper gear (as does Alex Jones and former Fox kook Glenn Beck) for the End Times a Hillary presidency certainly will usher in.
Too bad predictions of Obama ushering in the End Times hasn’t worked out but there are a few months left to go! 👍
Conservatism has devolved from the boring psuedo-intellectualism of Will, Sowell, and Buckley into the dull-witted but sensational insanity of conspiracy nuts camping out at Area 51 waiting for the mothership to take them home. Please beam Fox up with ’em! 😉
