Do the Fox & Friends producers research their guests' backgrounds? Reason I'm asking is because, yesterday, Brian Kilmeade hosted a big time conspiracy theorist and 9/11 "truther." Perhaps that wasn't a problem because his guest validated a very important Fox & Friends meme that "PC" liberals hate America. Never mind....
As the banner proclaimed "Patriotism Problems, US Citizens Sign Petition to Ban American Flag," the opening video showed an unidentified man asking people to sign a petition to re-design the flag - not, as the banner said, to "ban it." (Note, Fox & Friends loves "gotcha" video, usually done by Campus Reform, which serves as a sounding board for the usual liberals are stupid and un-American Fox & Friends meme.)
Kilmeade quipped "of course, many rushed to sign but did they know this was all a hoax." He framed the patented Fox/right wing anti-"PC" (and anti-California) message: "Does this highlight a PC culture gone to far or just tell us how crazy people are on the West Coast." He introduced his guest, "media analyst" Mark Dice who proceeded to rattle off all the requisite right wing talking points so beloved on Fox & Friends.
Dice noted the anti-Confederate flag sentiment and said he "wanted to see if these politically correct millennials would ban the American flag." He explained that he told students that "it was time to end the racism that the American flag stands for" and "quite stunningly" he received a positive response. In keeping with standard Fox & Friends propaganda about treasonous liberal higher education, he blithered about how these students have been "indoctrinated by their communist college professors, the liberal media, poisoned by pop culture to being ashamed of America and so afraid to be politically incorrect." Kilmeade said "right," as the banner read: "Banning Old Glory, Video Shows Citizens Eagerly Signing Petition."
Kilmeade said "wow," as more video was shown. Dice claimed that those who signed the petition were "afraid to be labeled politically incorrect." He pontificated about how terrible it is that, leading up to the 4th of July, "these mentally enslaved morons" are "ashamed of the American flag." He worked in another comment about how these students have been "indoctrinated through liberalism to be really ashamed of America." Kilmeade: "You're not."
Dice wrapped it up with a reference to how Louis Farrakhan wants to take down the American flag. He reinforced the anti-"PC" message with his comment about how this political correctness is "stunning," "sad," and "scary."
So I guess, for Fox News, saying that 9-11 was an inside job is fine and dandy because that's what America loving Dice believes. Dice is such a patriot that he sent 9/11 truther materials to US Marines stationed in Iraq. He has also informed us that Kylie Jenner, in exposing chemtrails, could be a Buddha like figure. He was detained by police while making a You Tube video about "Obama's Civilian National Security Force." And if that isn't crazy enough, consider that Dice is connected to, drum roll please, top rated conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
But Mark Dice thinks that millennials are "mentally enslaved morons?"
Does a Dalmatian have stripes?
