As foreign policy experts know, there is no easy solution to the ISIS situation given the complex web of political and religious ideologies in the area. So who better to provide us with an easy answer to the problem than a homophobic, racially insensitive guy whose expertise is not in diplomacy, but rather, in manufacturing duck calls. You've probably guessed who I'm talking about and it's none other than Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson who, during his appearance on last night's Hannity show, about "the rise of radical Islam," took a page straight out of the ISIS playbook in explaining his Christian bible based view that we should force ISIS to convert and if they don't, butcher them the same way that they butcher their enemies. The baby Jesus must be so happy.....
Hannity opened with a report on the latest ISIS execution. He asked "how should America deal with the simultaneous rise of radical Islam around the globe and a rising tide of anti-Semitism, and anti-Christian behavior as we saw convert or die in Mosul." Naturally, good Christian Hannity didn't mention ISIS' persecution of the Yazidis and other Muslims. He introduced the Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson who is pimping his new book.
After Hannity remarked that Robertson brought his bible with him, Robertson said that he "never leaves home without my bible and my woman" who, it appears, can't be trusted left to her own devices. College drop out Hannity referenced one of his own books in which he discusses evil which, he noted, is also addressed in the Bible. Theologian Hannity cited the Lord's Prayer which says "deliver us from evil." He asked if ISIS' decapitations are evil and, if so, how we should deal with it. And that's when we took a sharp right turn into bizarro world.
Robertson provided us with his dualistic view of how the world is divided between "the children of God" and "the evil one." He cited biblical quotes on sin and Satan which, he suggested, describe ISIS. After Robertson babbled about all the slaughter in the Middle East, Hannity asked "what is the answer" and proceeded to answer it: "Do nothing and get ready for the next attack..." Robertson provided us with yet another one of his patented philosophical gems: In this case, you either have to convert them which I think would be next to impossible. I'm not giving up on them but I'm just saying either convert them or kill them, one or the other. I think converting them, maybe has that time come and gone, so I think that with this ideology we're faced with, this is like street gangs, street thugs on steroids."
Hannity predicted that "the media" will say "there goes Phil Robertson." Robertson said that he'd "much rather have a bible study with all of them and show them the error of their ways and point them to Jesus Christ...however if it's a gun fight and that's what they're looking for, me personally I am prepared for either one." Hannity asked why people think Robertson is controversial when he, Hannity, sees him as a Christian pastor. Robertson compared himself to Jesus who was also hated. Not surprisingly when he talked about sin, he mentioned sexual sin which, of course, is all about the gay. Roberson continued to babble about sin and redemption and how Obamacare isn't going to "keep you out of the ground." He asserted that, he, Phil Robertson, is giving people "eternal healthcare."
So Phil Robertson is advocating for something that, when done by ISIS, is evil and sinful. But he's not the only one employing a double standard. Last week, Sean Hannity, during an interview with a Muslim imam yelled the following: "Do you support ISIS demanding that Christians, the Yazidis, ‘convert to Islam or die?’ Do you support that?" Yet Hannity seemed fine with Roberson's convert or die theology. While ISIS is a very nasty operation, Hannity pal Phil Robertson made the case that the Christian American Taliban is no different.
Wow, just wow.

Nice to know that the parade of “experts” on Fox News continues . . .

Duckman=Convert or be killed
So, if you are non-Christian, the American Taliban will come after you.
The Duckman says we all have sinned. Yeah, so has Hannocchio for the last couple of decades.

Use this against the GOP in the November elections.
