As America's Christian "news" network, Fox News promotes Christianity over other religions. While Israel is strongly supported, the Jews, who are overwhelmingly liberal, are not part of Fox's featured religious programming. The few rabbis who appear are Orthodox and politically conservative. Any other religion is outright ignored or denigrated as "fringe groups." Islam, on Fox, is "bashed with impunity." In keeping with the meme, this morning's Fox & Friends went beyond your typical Fox & Friends persecuted Christian piece. while discussing the plight of Iraqi religious minorities, failed GOP congressional candidate Rev. Michael Faulkner made an encore Fox appearance to say that only Christians are being persecuted in Iraq and Obama doesn't care. Meanwhile, the Yazidis are slowly dying on an Iraqi mountaintop because of their beliefs. Nothing to see here, move along...
While Anna Kooima cited "religious minorities," in her opening report, the pro-life, anti-gay, anti-atheist Faulkner gave the impression that these people were all Christians: "If you name the name of Christ, you will be persecuted." He said that these people, who are not following the ISIS mandate of convert or die, are "true Christians." The chyron: "Forced to flee, Iraq Christians told leave, convert, or die." Not wasting an opportunity to bash Pres. Obama, Faulkner said that he "believes that my President should step up his conversation globally on this issue" and that *"he has been far too silent..." The chyron reinforce the propaganda that only Christians are being persecuted: "Faith Under Fire, Christians in Iraq being forced to leave." He said that religious and ethnic cleansing and persecution cannot stand. While he spoke, video of Yazidis was shown.
Tucker Carlson, once again, showed us why he's a "dick." He expressed dismay that "when gays are persecuted in Uganda, it's on the front page of the NY Times, girls don't get to school in Kandahar, the President gives a speech about it." He raised his voice: "When Christians are persecuted, it's somehow embarassing for us to take even a verbal stand on their behalf." Faulkner didn't know why we don't talk about "Christians are being persecuted solely for that they are Christians."
To Clayton Morris' question of what can be done, Faulkner, who said on a past Fox & Friends show that "God guarantees our rights," said that every Christian minister should encourage their congregation to pray and speak out against these events" which, according to Faulkner, are happening exclusively to Christians when, in reality, ISIS is persecuting other Muslims. (ssshhhh) Anna Kooiman encouraged her Christian audience to "go to church."
While Christians are being persecuted in Iraq, the current problem relates to the Yazidis who are stranded on a mountaintop where they went to escape ISIS which is now holding Yazidi women captive. Pres. Obama has authorized supply drops to these people as well as bomb strikes against the ISIS contingent that is pursuing the Yazidis. Obama has spoken of genocide. Obviously Fox talkers can't wrap their heads around a religion that pre-dates Christianity. In Foxworld, if you ain't Christian, you ain't nothing.
Should there be any doubt as to why Fox viewers are uninformed?
*Faulkner is either lying or misinformed. Obama has said that "these terrorists have been especially brutal to religious minorities including Christians and Yazidis."

Why can’t we just accept the fact that the USA saved people that we being persecuted to extinction because of ANY reason.
