OK, this is gonna be the only post I make on any of these threads:
As controversial as the swap is, Fox News is so busy attacking what kind of soldier Bergdahl was that they conviently forget three things- First, that we’re more than likely tracking the people we traded for him, assuming we don’t have any of them as willing moles of our own. Which will just as more than likely lead to the capture/killing of more Al_Queda leaders. That’s a ’Nuff said scenario.
Second… 180 much? These clowns were all gun-ho on getting him back, making him an anti-Obama prop. Now, he’s back, re-read point one, and they won’t consider anything but comparing this to the show Homeland.
Which brings me to my third point: The second you start comparing anything to a Howard Gordon show… You’ve lost. Howard Gordon is nothing but a conservative propagandist, who everything he makes has the same plot: The government, military, or both went off-script from the “proper” thinking of that 1950s Murka had the right idea, and the problems came out of that. He never even pretends that he’s gonna have a secondary cause, or a solution other than “kill them, and bring back the 1950s!”.
And slightly off-topic, but I have to point this out: Has anyone else noticed that Fox News is only giving 1/8 of the attention to Ryan Chamberlain that other networks are? Or that what coverage that are giving him is completely omitting that he’s a high profile bay area conservative, while playing up that he was a consultant for Gavin Newsom? How simply conveniently of them also leaving out that his role in that was to provide Newsom with the Republican views and proposed solutions…
I’d write that up, But the segments that did make foxnews.com for linking up don’t even equal six minutes, and don’t illustrate my point well enough between them. I’m sure the opinion shows will fix that when I have time and migraine medication for their crap, though.
