Much of the recent Fox News rhetoric has focused the radicalization of Tamerlin Tsarnaev who accessed incendiary jihadist websites and videos which probably trafficked in the "death to America" sort of thing. Yet, Fox News fundamentalist homophobe and ace culture clubber Todd Starnes, who refers to the Tsarnaevs' as jihadists, sent out several recent tweets which used the incendiary term "baby killers" to describe Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides a range of health care to low income women. So if one can make the argument that radical jihadist websites could contribute to homicidal ideation on the part of those who seek a scapegoat for their hatred, can we also say that the term "baby" killers could do the same - especially given the record of violence against abortion clinics and doctors? Bill O'Reilly constantly vilified Dr. Tiller and we know how that ended?!
As the "Church Lady" would say, "isn't it special" that good Christian *single (hope he's saving it for Jesus) Todd Starnes uses the same language used by all those nice Christians who have murdered and attempted to murder abortion providers. But be scared of radical Islam, yessireee....
And sadly, Starnes, who "gave his life to the lord at 13," isn't the only Christian using (only one of countless websites) this rhetoric. Yet, for Fox News, Islamic radicalization is the only radicalization that matters!
*Ladies, this Christian stud muffin is only 41 and still available!
And regarding the Tsarnaevs’ proclivities, we could also mention that Tamerlan was a fan of Alex Jones. Does that mean that Alex Jones is a jihadist as well?
This is, at its core, Fox News’ attempt to stir up its base on an issue where they know they can’t really do anything. Undoubtedly, we’ll see further swipes like this over the next year as we brace for the midterms.
