Oh, and I did some research on this (because why should you bother getting all the facts before posting your ignorance for the world wide web to see?) and found that 90%+ number being thrown around (like it’s the end all be all) is a load of crap.

The 90% number is taken from a Reuters article which quotes a poll taken by Quinnipiac University of Connecticut. Quinnipiac questioned just under 1800 registered Connecticut voters for this poll, a state that has very progressive gun laws and leans predominately left. Reuters headline says; “Over 90% of Americans”, which I guess is technically correct since Connecticut voters are Americans, but we know this is not how they (or the MSM) are portraying it. They are extrapolating their data from a liberally leaning/gun unfriendly state to the whole country. More left wing games. More left wing lies.

Do you really believe that the majority of this country is made up of democrats? LMAO! Do you really look at the 2nd Amendment as a left or right (“us or them”) issue? I don’t know where you got your “91% of the country” claim from, but that would mean that 91% of the country is just as ignorant and uneducated as you are and that’s just sad.

It’s pretty clear that you know absolutely nothing about firearms – the types, their mechanics, their functions, characteristics, their lethality, or anything else firearm-related for that matter, so I’ll try to cut you some slack. No wait… no I won’t.

First of all “assault weapons” are already Federally heavily regulated and enforced by the BATFE, who by the way don’t fuck around. It’s next to impossible for anyone to get one already and has been for over 60 years. And if you can somehow afford the license fees and pass the extensive background check, and jump through all the hoops for the Fed., you’re going to have the BATFE crawling up your ass 24/7. So basically they’re as close to banned without being banned as it gets.

The firearms that Feinstein and her cronies are going after and want to ban are semi-automatic (1 triggger pull = 1 bullet fired) civilian rifles with similar cosmetic features that make it look like the real assault rifle a soldier would be using on the battlefield. But these are not, and just because they may look scary to you and others doesn’t make them “assault weapons.” Just because you saw some dingleberry actor in Hollywierd, or some character in a video game blow up a train with his “assault weapon” that doesn’t make it possible here in the real world. Semi-auto’s have been around for 100 years.

Just because your hatred for the GOP is greater than your ability to think outside left and right doesn’t make you a bad person, just a foolish one. When I look at the 2nd Amendment I don’t see a left side or a right side to it- I see it for what it is, and what it isn’t. I see it as a RIGHT and not a privilege granted to me by some empty suit in DC with body guards carrying (guess what?) real assault weapons. I see it as complete hypocrisy from the left and right side of the aisle to dictate or control what firearms we can and cannot have when they have around the clock personal protection. I see it as being completely shallow and a total insult to law-abiding American citizens every time elitist snob hypocrite politicians think that their lives are somehow more important, or more valuable, or more worth saving or defending than ours.

Oh, and after this pressure-cooker bombing in Boston are you going to be shouting from the rooftops that we need to ban civilians from having bombs? Because bombs are already banned for civilian use in this country. Did you blame the bombers in Boston or did you blame the bomb? If you are consistent in your emotional, irrational, thought process you would be blaming the bomb right now just as you blame the gun for mass shootings. Where’s your consistency?
