Will Fox News Defend General Mills After Anti-Gay Protester Sets Its Lawn On Fire?

Posted by Priscilla 0.40pc on August 06, 2012 · Flag

For the last couple of weeks, Fox News has provided a steady supply of affirmation for the free speech rights of Chick-fil-A. Right wing "comedian" Steven Crowder used the opportunity to claim that conservative protesters are so peaceful whereas liberal protesters are a bunch of thugs. (Crowder obviously doesn't know about the vandalism inflicted on Planned Parenthood clinics, and the occasional abortion doctor murder, by good Christian, conservative, pro-lifers, but I digress). But lo and behold, it appears that a nice, "traditional marriage" supporter got a little out of control when he accidentally ignited the lawn of General Mills during his torching of a box of Cheerios in protest against General Mills support of same sex marriage . Meanwhile, the National Organization for Marriage has started a boycott of General Mills. Will Mike Huckabee organize a General Mills Appreciation day?  Need a laugh, check out the video.

As dude says that "One out of every eight boxes of cereal in this country is Cheerios. This is really the treat now for the homosexuals! And this is our protest of General Mills, because they're advocating same-sex marriages. So we are gonna torch some cereal," he lights the Cheerios on fire. The fire spreads to the lawn. The rest is viral!

That “anti-gay” protester sure sets my gaydar off like a klaxon. And the whole this bit seems too silly and put on to be real. I think it’s hoax and satire.

Drat, Ice T’s pro-gun views, not pro-fun!

If the right can learn to love Ice “Cop Killer” T for his pro-fun views, they can learn to hate private property rights because of some clumsy dolt.

From Visitor 55’s comment:

“What I’d like to see is if POS borally condemns this boycott the way he did the Chik-fil-A boycott.”

He will — when cows start dancing the bossa nova.

Of course pHuckabee won’t call for a General Mills appreciation day. If anything he’ll encourage his mindless sheep to boycott Gen. Mills.

What I’d like to see is if POS borally condemns this boycott the way he did the Chik-fil-A boycott.

Fox Nation is celebrating one of Obama’s Oakland’s offices being trashed by a black bloc; meanwhile, this is barely a blip on either side’s radar.

The double standard is strong with this one.
